Hello

some days are left then the year 2017 will be past. A great year for the bitcoin.

Do you think there will be a drop at the beginning of 2018 or do you think sky is the limit  ( or even the moon? )

Do you think the bubble will blast at 2018 if yes what the reason you think that way?

i want to collect opinions , to think outside the box.

thank you

Few weeks ago I was very concerned about the situation of BTC and thought that bubble burst is near but now I think it will not happen in next 6months, after that possibly, because it is a bubble!

The speculation about after new years is interesting. There are several arguments that support theory that it will not burst .
 1) In Holiday time everyone will be talking about his and encouraging everyone to participate
2) Asia futures are launching after NewYears

People have been saying that the BTC bubble is ready to pop for 8 years now. I don't think its going to pop anytime soon, realistically it would probably experience a few dips but in my opinion the possibility of bitcoin falling is pretty low.

It's really impossible to make any comments on the current price of btc. Before there always used to be a reason that maybe china bans it , japan adopts it or any positive or negative news which always effected the price of btc.

Well in the current situation nothing really is happening it is increasing with no stop. From what I've seen i do feel that this might be a bubble but even if it somehow bursts there is a relly high chance it will easily gain again.

This recent btc rally, in fact, has made a lot of users to question themselves about a bubble possibility.

Chances of bubble to pop is very low in my point of view, even if those whales that hodls huge amount of bitcoins will dump it it will not make huge fall, maybe $2,000 to $4,000 fall of price. The demand of people to use bitcoin will make this digital currency even bigger each year.  Smiley

Probably it cannot be predicted at any time because of its volatile.  The volatile reason is depend on bitcoin demands and some country policies. In my thought bitcoin is not like a asset such as estates, gold or any other physical thing. It is a technology and medium of exchange. It exploit the exponential growth of that digital currency.. Then why so we called bubble. It is a another technical path for speculating online currency. It's growth only depends on how they are use it and how it works.

Let’s start about 12 more threads about a bubble and then maybe we will have enough.

It is not a bubble, at least not yet. Because I think bitcoin still hasn't reached the level where the majority of the people around the world are crazy about it, a lot of people don't even know about it. In order for a bubble to form, you need to have A LOT of people investing without knowing why they are doing it. So I think we have some ways to go yet.

I have heard many people talk about bitcoin bubbles. it can be destroyed. Its high value really makes many people dizzy. They are concerned that the bitcoin value will decrease significantly. But I think looking at the development of bitcoin for many years I think bitcoin grows steadily. If it has dropped I think it will soon rise again

The bubble problem was told when the btc hit $ 5,000, everyone was worried that it was going down, it was going up, I thought it was a long time ago.

I think it is not bubble yet even though many people and newspaper said bubble is coming. I think bitcoin can reach $50000 in 2018. It is possible because bitcoin value is higher than we think. It can increase your assets very short time and buy a lot of things using bitcoin, so that is why i think not bubble yet.

I would say that the bubble still has a few years of existence before it explodes, 2018 should be a good year for bitcoin too

Because bitcoins are overpriced, investors will be more concerned about it, leading to higher bitcoin prices, and bubbles are inevitable.

at this point i sometimes hope bitcoin price drops and i hope it drops hard! i have this wish only because i want all the "bitcoin is bubble" topics to stop. i am starting to get sick and tired of this repetition. and it has been going on a while, ever since bitcoin price broke $1200 (the previous and first ATH) they have been calling bitcoin a bubble and they are still spreading the same FUD.
and none of them have any reason for it either, and that is the worst part. they just say it is a bubble because price is "big"!

There is no doubt that this market is still full of bubbles, but the bubble will be digested, and now I think it is a very safe period. So I personally recommend to relax, continue to focus on altcoin and ICO market.

I think it'll continue to grow, but one day it will decline. Then a country's economy will fail- government will try and print money, they'll refuse to accept it and it will turn to crypto.. Herein lies the future!
