I think, the mining in 2018 is not perspective than other alternative sources of crypto. If I were you I'd like to invest in good coin or get tokens from bounty.

I recommend you if you have the very small amount you should dig with the GPU because it's faster you use the CPU, and there are some nice altcoins for you to dig like ETH coin and monero, they are good IMO . Laugh

I'd go with Monero (XMR) and DigitalNote (XDN). Monero is still friendly for CPU mining and it's starting to be worth something. DigitalNote is very very low at the moment, but they will always back CPU mining, and have a great new take on ...

If it's a good Digital Note to mine, can you teach me?
Because I see the Digital Note on Bittrex the price is under 200 satoshi, and it's suitable for long-term trading.

OK here you go . .

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4951492.msg46238342#msg46238342

Thank me later Wink

NOTE:  Pay attention, read the white paper for 2 mins so you GET what Bitcoin Low Energy is about!

its NOT a pointless clone . . its NOT a PoS coin  . . its NOT a masternode coin. . .

it IS a technologically significant direct descendant of the original Bitcoin that is called Bitcoin Low Energy (BitcoinLE) $BLE.

PS - BE SURE to copy the config from the above post and name it bitcoin.conf and put it in your appdata/roaming/bitcoinle folder

Otherwise your wallet will not sync, as you wont get the heartbeat of the original bitcoin from the metronome!

Good Luck!

See you on BLEpool.com !

I would like to mine cpu minable coins. I need to know about coins available for cpu mining and with good scope in future.

Thanks in advance  Smiley
CPU mining is not a good option now. It isn't good for your CPU, waste of electric and does not have high perform. I often run CPU mining on my VPSs.

It will be better if you choose GPU mining. CPU mining is painfully slow and based on my experience, the mined coins is not even enough for you to pay your electric bill and buy a new CPU in case it dies. What happened to me is that my CPU got broken because of mining and I need to buy a new (something faster and more durable).  My computation says that cpu mining is not worth it. Try GPU mining instead.

tapping at the moment is really a big risk. If you are aiming for a large digger then you should reconsider. Because Bitcoin's price is now $ 6k5 and according to a miner in the US, he had to lose $ 43.56 per digger in a month. I do not think this is a good time for diggers.

you guys im telling you read the whitepaper on Bitcoin Low Energy for TWO mins . . its not bullshit, its fucking ingenious! Its only mining like 10 secs everytime the REAL bitcoin finds a block, then it sleeps til the next bitcoin block!

see my post above, try it out, the upside is insane and the downside is infinitesimal!

bitcoinle.org

Its NOT a fuckin POS Masternode coin . . its the ONLY COIN IN THE WORLD with Low Energy tech!

actually there are a lot of coins that can be mined and just select it, but before mining, you should prepare the tools that will be used in mining, because the tools must also be qualified, especially graphics cards, usually the most preferred in CPU mining is the graphics card it is the one that most influences the speed of mining.

I am mining with cpu until now.

the coin is :
1. CRDS (CREDITS)
2. VRM (VERIUM)
3. WEBCHAIN (WEB)

three above only mineable with cpu, you can search some explanation on they site.

and then STELLITE (XTL) : cpu and gpu mineable, or you can try ZOIN/NOIR

small profit, but I enjoy it ..  Cheesy Cheesy ( I dont have any choice )

You are wrong. Webchain is a cryptonight coin and can be mined with GPU.
It was even added to SRB miner today. I don't know about the rest.
I would recommend uPlexa, because it has the best CPU vs GPU balance.

If you see Thread Alternative coin -> Announcement. there is a lot of new coin that using PC as miner. but some of them isn't really on the market so that's the mean they have no value at this moment. just choose some coin that will add to some exchange and you will make some profit later.

Monero is the best variant. But I don’t think that you will earn a lot of money. This type of mining isn’t as good as you think. It’s better to use ASIC miners

Winspiral is very well known as scammer and this thread is a kind of the promotion thread to promote his ponzi site. This thread has no purpose at all. So many times OP was creating a lot of similar thread like this one. OP is not even interested to open the discussion.

As long as you have free access to electricity then you can go ahead an mine your coins. The only reason why mining is not profitable lately is because of the electricity cost, next is maintenance but electricity cost will surely eat up a lot of your profits plus man power since you cant operate it alone and be awake 24/7.

I mine only if I use my PC (not by night when I am sleeping) and now it is winter...so my electricity used is partly less for my electric heaters.

I offer my mining earning at my winspiral members...(Fun is fun)
