I've been trolling these boards for over a year but have not contributed ... now when I have something important to add to one of the other posts I realize that I'm a "NEWBIE" ... well, I'm personally surprised but I guess it has more to do with me being busy with other things and not trolling here enough.

In any case -- I'm a reasonably active trader and sold nearly all my Bitcoins at 100 USD watching for a re-test of $50 USD by year end.  Purely technical and a little bit from seeing the competition from other virtual currencies ... any one else believe that, while virtual currency is truly here to stay, something other than BTC will be the one we're all talking about in 5 years ?

Ripple seems like a semi-centralized virtual currency to me - more towards he centralized side. I don't know much else about it but I don't think it can compare to BTC.

The signature campaign posters adding useless redundant fluff to their posts to reach their minimum word count are lowering my IQ.
