USDC will be an ERC-20 token based on the Ethereum network. It will be backed one-to-one with the dollar and is lauded by supporters to carry many of the benefits of cryptocurrencies, without the risk of volatility. Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire said in an interview at an industry conference Monday, that the token will also provide greater transparency. He added:

“It’s a version of fiat that can move at the speed of the Internet with global reach, with much less cost, with high levels of security. It’s a huge improvement for how fiat money transmission can work around the world for consumers and for businesses who might want to collect digital payment with tokens.”

Circle, which has 7 mln users, is looking to integrate USDC in its Circle Pay payment app and in Circle Trade, a crypto OTC desk and liquidity provider. The company also plans to offer USDC on its cryptocurrency exchange Poloniex

Currrently my two favorites are Siacoin and Pascalcoin.
The reason for their stability is that Siacoin has a real and working product and Pascal is an innovative idea, which is its own blockchain, using account names that are distinct from the pascal blockchain to ensure only the last 100 blocks are needed. Ensuring the speed, cost, and longevity of its blockchain. Other blockchains have to consider the entirety of every transaction that ever occurred, meaning larger blocks, leading to longer transaction times and higher costs.

there are a huge number of new crypto now.To my mind TRON and EOS can be as good as BTC, ETH or LTC.But the market of cryptocurrencies is very cruel, so it's difficult to predict theis destiny.

I don't really think any coins are what I would consider stable when compared to investing in stocks, but I think a big name like ethereum is probably the most stable.

There are more than 1000 altcoins in the market. What do you think for the most stable altcoins?

The price of crypto will never be stable because if it does then no one will invest in it even in stock and forex. The market works that way that is why traders play with the volatility of the market. So if you want something stable I think you are in the wrong investment.

When you say stable coins you can't go wrong with etherium, neo is on my list as well. Lastly for me is litecoin. They are all bargain at the moment as we are experiencing cryptocurrencies total market capitalizaions correction. For me those three are one the top choices if not the best.

the most stable is Ethereum. there may still be litecoin and monaro, but the prices of all altcoins are always compared to bitcoin anyway, so it doesn't really matter what you choose.

There are:
1.Tether
2. Dai
3. TrueUSD
4. BitUSD
5. Havven
6. Basecoin

Dai is my favorite stable coin because it's decentralized, it is easy to use and available on one of my favorite exchanges

That is all I know. Wonder if there is more?

There are more than 1000 altcoins in the market. What do you think for the most stable altcoins?

i dont think there is any of them. altcoins price is always following bitcoin price on the market.
last year at the end of the year, bitcoin price was at the peak. other altcoins are following as well.

USDT is a stable token. There was another similar token recently - TUSD. It seems to me that during the fall of the market many people convert their capital into these coins.

Of course the more global a coin, the stronger the coin will be and the harder it will be to manipulate, but if its market capitalization is very large, its growth potential will certainly decrease.

There are more than 1000 altcoins in the market. What do you think for the most stable altcoins?

It is certain altcoin will be more stable. But they are also starting from the basics, and getting bigger because of the support of the community. But also keep in mind that the growth potential of a coin is also based on the amount of supply and distribution. But in general I agree if eth and neo are stars of altcoin at the moment.

The more the project coin is used for its intended purpose, the more stable the price for it. The project potential is also very important. The more the project potential is visible, the stronger investors hold a coin in the portfolio (investors can still buy up coins).
p.s. since the market is very unstable, that the price of any Altcoin varies greatly.

I think the stable Altcoin are the ones who can oppose the bitcoin direction, but there are some coins that can do it so the best thing to do is find out how your coins react when bitcoin prices have become wild. And I will first choose Bitcoin given the fact that bitcoin is the mother's coin of all computerized cash and its demand extends well.

Bitcoin is the most stable one ever! Then ethereum comes then litecoin comes maybe. These three are stable ones compared with other weak ones. They get affected from negative market more hardly.

The most stable project today is Tether: D Of course it's a joke. I think that today ETHER shows a very good result against the backdrop of general dipression, that's why I think it's worth buying ETH, for the entire period of my stay on crypto-exchanges, it didn`t get as cheap as the rest
