Got 0.0004 BTC, want PayPal

Hey guys, just found 0.0004 BTC in my Coinbase account which I haven't used in over a year (I'm not much into crypto these days).
Apparently it's now worth around $8.74  
Was wondering if anyone wants to send some money to my PayPal in return for the 0.0004 BTC?
I don't mind going first.

Hi, I understand transaction fees are higher these days and I don't know how much it will be for this one.
I don't mind just sending you the coins, see how much you get and how much you can send to my PayPal.
If most of the 0.0004 gets eaten up by fees, I'm happy to let you keep whatever you receive for free, you don't have to send me any money

Yes it possible to transfer between Coinbase wallets, it's actually preferable since there is no fee for internal transfers.

WOW, I'm flabbergasted!!!   

I just tried to send you the BTC and it's telling me that the fees for sending $8 worth of Bitcoin is ~$17 ?? 
I haven't dealt with anything Bitcoin related for about a year but damn, this used to be free, I remember I used to send BTC from my coinbase wallet to external wallets without incurring any fees. Apparently now fees apply to internal transfers as well, wow.
So basically I can't do anything with those $8 BTC lol. Oh well, was worth a try.

I can try your address but it seems that the fees apply to every transaction now. I tried sending to his non-Coinbase address and it still showed the same ~$17 fees.

So how the hell do people deal with small amounts these days?? what if I wanna buy something that costs $5, do I have to pay like $20 for something that costs $5???

Ah ok I was just reading about that on the Coinbase website, yeah it says no fees for internal transfers. I've never tried sending by email.
