With all this speculation, I wonder if the price is going to continue to go down. I don't have anything in the way of profitable bitcoins at the moment, but was looking to put together something to bring in some coins, do you think it's too late for that or do you expect the price to rise again?

Me, I hope it rises again I'd buy bitcoins if I had the money to do so but I don't understand/know how that effects the market.

CPU/Rigs, I understand the whole GPU/CPU thing now what I'm saying is I was going to put together something a little more efficient for mining but with the price drop I'm not exactly sure it would be worth it. Not that it's drastic or anything but it's making me nervous.

Difficulty follows price. If the price goes down, so will difficulty, as people will be less willing to mine at lower prices, meaning you will get more bitcoins. The price doesn't matter.
