Wow.
This has to be a new record?

Blocks 499795 and 499796 were mined with only 2 seconds between them !
Is the difficulty level too low?

Wwooww thats fascinating.. this is the first time I see this.  I hope someone technical can explain thr reason why to us. The difficulty cant be that low.

Blocks are mined closely together very frequently.

The purpose of difficulty is to make the blocks average ten minutes - having hashrate is like participating in a lottery to mine a block.  Basically, they're guessing until they find the nonce.
