ETH and XRP is a good choice and do you plan to buy some more of it or other altcoins to add to your investment?

Then these coins are going to start pumping as that's the effect of it when bitcoin is getting dump, other altcoins are pumping in opposite of that action.

They will decrease in value too a little, but you should know that every currency price is backed with bitcoins, if bitcoin goes very much up the price in bitcoins is less, but in dollars is probobly more than before... every cryptocurrency goes up with bitcoin, because bitcoin is a measure coin exspecially when trading between other currencyes.

Everything is worth to have at least a little, and mayority in the ones that you trust the most...

I too think that ETH and XRP are good choices but anything other than that in your list is prone to rapid devaluation after the speculative circle of that specific crypto ends. All ICOs tend to go through this if they become successful more or less.

The whole market will bleed but it's only temporary, and if it's not we will get more bitcoin for our alts.

You have chosen good coins. If the price of bitcoin decreases, then altcoins usually fall after it. But not always. Sometimes some coins show growth against the background of the fall of bitcoin. It is hard to say that about the relation between bitcoin and the other coins. But I think, ethereum is a promising coin and it have a good potential.

In general situation, if btc goes down market reacts to it buy cashing out to fiat money. So you may lose money. But coins you choose are great. Patience will make you money.

The whole market will bleed but it's only temporary, and if it's not we will get more bitcoin for our alts.

You cannot know this surely. Between september and december was very negative for all the altcoins. If this repeats once again, altcoins will suffer more from the market conditions. Thus never give 100% weight on them.

you are not suppose to purchase when market is at its highest volume than ever. best strategy is to buy in bloodbath and sell when all coins are in green . anyways you have purchased these coins then hold these coins untill you get your desired return  but i dont think so that bitcoin will go down to that extereme as you are expecting

Most likely, altcoin prices will go down as well when BTC price goes down. But it is a good time to buy more to add to your portfolio when it happen.
