What are the advantages of allowing POS minting to start only after a month of coin-age?

Every transfer destroys coin-age, right? The way it is, every transfer destroys at least 1 month in coin-age value, which is further deterrence to actually spending a "currency".

this is the setting of the coin. Some coins, like GLX, I already got some stakes. 1 month or not totally depend on the parameters of the coin.
