Testing FA. I know this site serves images properly. After all, it's a porn site, so it has to work. It's never not worked.

(Hmm, looks likes it's not just Imgur. Theymos, have you checked that the image proxy's not on a text-only Internet plan? Don't you know, you have to pay extra for images now that net neutrality's been repealed? Wink)

Will pretend to do unspeakable things (while actually eating a taco) for bitcoins: 1K6d1EviQKX3SVKjPYmJGyWBb1avbmCFM4

No. This is a problem with BitcoinTalk. Please understand, I am now hosting it on my very own website and it does not work. If it still continue, I will have paid that copper thing for nothing.

See, I post this code :

You see nothing right ? It's not my server neither.
Yes, it is:

Yes there is a problem all images from imgur are not loading. My threads now look stupid like there is nothing in them just text... I think there is a problem with large ones. Try this in [img] tags and you will see that they are not loading https://i.imgur.com/eB04eXy.png

The problem isn't with the large ones, the issues is with all of them.
I have the same issue. The Logos of the projects I've translated do not show up. The size of 1 logo is 2 KB. Here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2346118
My portofolio doesn't load... It looks plain and stupid now.

i can add who behaviour seems random...
seems not linked to the image size.

Again, it's a problem on imgur's end. They're blocking the forum. I'm not going to "fix" anything. Use an alternative to imgur.

No it is not a problem created by image hosters.
Images that are hosted on private servers dont work either even though they worked 2 days ago.

It is something on the bitcointalk side.
Please "fix" the problem.

Yep, there are a ton of sites that don't properly show the image when using the "img" tags.

For example, I embedded some images to explain this guy something about a wallet here:

You could try checking out the network activity here:

Im assuming your client has this since it looks like a bitcoin-qt or bitcoin core fork judging from your screenshot, so click on help, debug window and then network traffic tab:

And if you are seeing green lines then you are on a doing ok. If you don't see green lines you aren't downloading anything which could be due lack of peers.. so contact developers for that.

None of these links work when embedded so I had to add direct links. Also images from twitter such as

do not show up.

It's really annoying. You either get an invisible image that doesn't show up, or you get the "blocked by proxy" or whatever in red font with white background image.

I think it's better to stick to posting direct links until it gets fixed.

Perhaps a problem linked to the "new" switch to cloudflare ?  Embarrassed
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2485318.msg26222614#msg26222614

Perhaps ip.bitcointalk.org (that it recreates images in the forum) have been blacklisted ... automatically (high traffic) ?  Undecided

Yes, thanks to every image hoster on Earth for resolving this issue so quickly. It's kind of embarrassing to the industry for them all to fail at exactly the same time, but such is life.

(But really, you guys were right, it was a problem on my end. I was only seeing complaints related to imgur, and imgur has blocked the forum several times in the past with similar effects, so I assumed that it was that.)
