I see this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvbqkv2SgHcfrom the video it seems like Nvidia GTX 1060 is same as 106 cards and you can use 8*gtx 1060 + 11*AMD cards to get this motherboard going with 19 GPUs. Anyone got it working in this setup? I have 7 GTX 1060 and would like to use this motherboard. 106 cards are pretty hard to find.

I think it never will be support 19 normal gpus. Amd have never said that. You have to combine it with p106 or p104 which normal people cant buy.
Normal people CAN buy the P106 - they have been listed on NewEgg and Amazon - they're just in very short supply due to high demand and LOW production. P104 as far as I know is only just hitting production, and is not widely available yet - it remains to be seen what the production levels of THAT GPU get to. they never been listen on newegg, normal ppl never could buy p106....

The P106 hasn't been listed LATELY on Newegg, but they have been in the past. Gigabyte models as I recall, unfortunately.

Windows 10 creative fall update "fixed" the 8 GPU limit. I'm running 13 1080ti in same rig, no issues.

Yes that sucks. I bought four Mobo $200 each only to find out that it can detect only 13 GPUs. But is that true that we can mix GTX and RX to have all 19 GPUs running ? Anyone tried successfully?

It won't work without the P106 cards. There's no workaround to that to my knowledge as of right now. If you bought it from any major retailer and you don't want to keep the mobo, chances are you'll be able to return it for free.

I hope that there's new bios update will available to enable this mobo to run 19gpu with the same cards..

Sorry for the slow response, but the P106 is different from the 1060 as it’s a specialized mining card and it won’t work with the board to fill it out. If you want to fill out the boards it’s still possible to buy the P106 cards, but as you likely already know they’re pretty expensive compared to other available GPUs.

P106/104/102 mining cards' bioses can reportedly be modded and reflashed, regular cards are locked. There are no public ways to mod a bios so far, but AFAIK it is being worked on.

I have 6 Vega 56’s running on this board.
For some reason anytime one of the GPU overheats and causes the rig to crash, the last slot that I have a GPU plugged into will randomly disable on the restart. I can switch it to another slot...or I can even just kill the power for a second, restart again and the slot lights back up green (it’ll be red when it’s disbaled) and it’s enavled once more.
The problem is that I manage my mining rigs remotely, so manually killing the power is a royal pain as I typically have to drive to the office to do so.
I also have 6 Vegas on an Asus z270-p & 6 on a asrock btc+ board and never have that issue on either of those boards.
I would love to hear that this is a bios setting that I can change but I don’t see anything in the bios that would be causing this to happen. I’m also on the latest version of the bios, I believe.
Has anybody else run into this? Any ideas why the cause might be? It feels like some kind of protection setting but like I mentioned I don’t see anything in the bios and my google searches have come up blank so far.

there are 3 seperate pages where you must change pcie spec to Gen2 instead of the common Gen1. asus b250 mining expert needs gen2 set for some amd cards, most of the time it is not necessary. the most common problem i have had were bad usb cables for risers. i dont know if it is the cause of asus b250, since its the only motherboards i own for mining... but check to see if thats the case. Use 6 known working good risers, and riser usb cables on asus b250 and see if that solves your problems.

do not buy risers with side fed usb pcie link if you are to use this board (photo link below) the usb cable coming off sideways (instead of vertical) blocks the pcie slots behind it making them inaccessible https://ae01.alicdn.com/kf/HTB102UESFXXXXbRXFXXq6xXFXXXg/ITHOO-USB3-0-60CM-PCIE-1X-to-16X-Graphics-Card-Extension-Cable-with-Multi-power-Ports.jpg---------------------------------------- jacking as many gpus on one mobo as possible, im personaly against for numerous reasons that i wont bore you with, i own 2 asus b250 mining and have 6xvega64 on each running for weeks on end no prob, more than 6 the system is not as stable using msi z270 tomahawk with a 1to4 pcie adapter to jack 6 vega64 yeilds ok stability but not as good as the asus tried the Asrock but i must admit my favourite is the Asus as long as its no more than 6 heavy gpus on it. sorry have no experience with lighter gpus only 64s
