They are saying that Radeon Pro Duo 32 GB can only be plugged in PCIE x16 slot in order to work!
They told me this after 2 weeks since I have bought 10 graphics cards! Nowhere in the requirements was written about this!
I bought the asrock h110 pro btc motherboards in vain because they have only 1 PCIe x 16 slot!

Well, this is AMD, crap, man! Do not know how to help you only say I feel you.
I have spent some days and nigts while setup one vega and one rx 570, on NV it was sooo much easier and more stable! I guess you have an option to return them back?

two options: 1. continue mining with GPU. or 2. sell your GPU despite risking down prices. Jump to vega 56 or RX or NVIDIA series.

The question is rather why would you purchase that many pro duos?

Vega 56 and 64 are tried and tested, seems like the obvious choice...

Always stick with what you know works and get other gpus in limited quantities to test them before you fork out a lot of $$$$

I have bought them because I have tested one. It was giving 48 mhs for Ethereum and had a consumption of 100W. For me it was interesting and since it worked with one gpu, I guessed it will work with more. I didn;t even think that it will not work in the PCIE x1 slot...

You say that they are electrically still x1. Is there a way to put them work together? A mobo with more electrically x16 slots?

To be honest, I think you might be able to mine Cryptonight coins more profitably than Ethash... If HBM is only half as good as HBM2 you'll should still get more than decent hashrates on XMR & co now that the potential's been unleashed by miners like STAK or Cast.

I will definitely try to get the best from it. First I have to figure out how to put more of these to work together on a rig

how about this option
buy nine more mainboards an build nine more rigs )
all of them will have one RX PRO, the rest you can fill with whatever you like  - RX580 /570/ vegas /1080 ti
in the end you'll have a decent farming power I think!

What's the problem? If you only made the purchase you can always return the product back. Why do you need those GPU. The Radeon is now worse than NVIDIA. VEGA is twice as expensive than the RX 580 but the speed of losing them. Why pay more? It seems to me that before we reduced the price of VEGA have these GPU no prospects. In any case, before you buy something, you need to consult with experts.
