Is it possible to send a bank wire transfer to an exchange or tether to buy tether?  For example buy 1000 dollars of tether by sending a site/exchange that money and then i get around 1000 tether?  Of course i dont mind the fee but i like to know is it possible?  Such as could i do a bank wire transfer of 5k or 10k to buy tether?  That way i get tether on an exchange like bittrex or binance?  Or i get tether somewhere and then send it to bittrex etc?

You can't buy Tether from Tether, their their banking relationships are... tenuous. That should tell you something.

You can wire money to Kraken and buy Tether directly there. That's the only exchange I know of that has a working USDT-USD trading pair.

Buy why would you want to? There are many threads on this forum addressing the reliability and safety of Tether. Suggest you read some of these before you commit.

The possible thing for you to buy tether through the bitfinex exchange site. The bitfinex has an ability to receive the wire transaction from the users and remember the bitfinex as the biggest market of tether.
Binance and bittrex doesn't supported the wire transaction. You may need to go to another option.

Could you cash out tether to your bank account though?  I read someone said bitfinex can do it if you have over 50k usdt.  Is that true or false?

So if you had that kind of usdt and cashout, you would get roughly 50000 usd?  Or whatever is the tether rate times the 50k usdt?

So binance and bittrex... you cannot deposit real usd or withdraw usd dollars to your bank account.  Can someone here confirm this?  So the purpose of having usdt in binance and bittrex is for people to park their values when they sell their btc or altcoins then?  Thus you would need to use either coinbase/gdax or gemini if you want to cash out to your american bank account?

Is possible to buy USDT with a wire transfer so far as the exchange selling it accept fiat currency. I think EXMO can accept wire transfer for you to buy the tether.

You can deposit bitcoin or any crypto in an  exchange and then convert it to tether. But beware tether belongs to bitfinex exchange and they were hacked and they even deducted users money from their exchange even though it was the exchange's fault. And usdt seems to be scammy sort of thing, so do be careful when you trade. Better trade trustworthy crypto like monero or something.
