Worst? As for me in the end of year. We saw almost only skam or not interesting ICO. Just few real interesting projects. For me The worst ICO was Authorship. I was in bountry and decide to buy some coins. But it`s deeping and deeping...

OHH. I heard about this ICO with crazy marketing strategy. This is really the worst ICO. My friends also were involved in that bounty and they got nothing for their work))

I seem to notice that there are too many ICOs run by Russian, and you don't know how legitimate they are and there are no real updates at all. These are definitely red flags to me. Not to say all Russian ICO is bad, INS was very successful, but the KYC process is a pain.

All of them.
Then go work on the plant  Grin
Seriously, there are many good projects which made me earn more then I could imagine (on bounties, I mean). The only my disappointment was ETHBOOKS (wrote an article for them) Cheesy But I was so young and green. I forgive me my mistake  Cheesy

The worst ICO of this year is Tezos. The project was very promising, everyone expected a profit of at least 10 times. As a result, the project team quarreled and we apparently lost all our money

I have to agree fully. Some ICOs out there have been from a bit unprofessional to plainly mismanaged, but Tezos rules them all. Just look for a good team an start making your own list of managers and advisors that you trust.

I remember seeing one called JesusCoin, which offered no value at all apart from approved by Jesus.

I think that has to be the worst one as it plays on people's religion and offers nothing at all to anyone.

You need to ho read the whitepaper, I'm afraid you are clueless about this token.

There are a lot of Shit ICO's featured in the year 2017. Many of them came out to fraud/scam. But ETHbooks was the worst out of all those. That ICO seems to be a totally legit project and with everything(concept, website, whitepaper, team etc) seems to be good enough to invest but in end, they fooled thousand of investors including me and got vanished after looting all the money.

This year was hard for ICO... the worst loss I had was on DOMRAIDER ICO... the value has dropped at 40% of ICO price now.... (and has reached 30%)......

I agree with you, a lot of Russian and Belarusian ICO scams spoiled the reputation for other projects and now people are afraid to invest their finances

I see that it has been mentioned a few times, but I have to also go with Jesus Coin.

There are bad ideas and then there is Jesus coin which I feel plays on a belief system. According to their website they have raised over 200 ETH....

All ICO, in which I participated in the summer, fell in the fall below the ground when bitkoyn rose, and all the altokkuny fell. Tokens purchased at the ICO fell 5 times. Now, some have narrowed the gap with the purchase up to 2.5 times. Several coins returned to their original value.  Smiley

They are overhyped, the investors that purchase coins and tell people that they should purchase the coins is going to ditch the coin when there is a wider hype around it.

Worst one is by far gimli... they even got unlisted from CMC, couldn't get on any exchange, refused to refund investors after they failed to reach softcap even after they said they would refund anyone who wanted it.

Let the thread begin!!
I will not say that he is the worst, but I'll say for one that I burned, and it was Gilgam. Initially, everything was very good there and you could just admire it. And now no one needs these tokens at all.
