Will Ethereum lead the Cryptocurrency market? If yes, then by what time?

i dont loose hope with ETH. Although its not as stable as BTC, i believe it will skyrocket in next few years.

Nobody knows. But the capacity of ethereum and it's success this year is point to ethereum racing toward leading cryptocurrency in general. Ethereum has been stable and there are less of security breaches! i don't think it will lead because beating BITCOIN is almost not possible it is in the top ten and will remain in top ten but ETH will get a huge growth for sure.

Maybe for a bit, but my money is in Ardor. It is like Ethereum, but solved all of Ethereums problems. It has been rising good lately so I suggest everyone gets in now before the big rise comes in 2018.

It doesn't really matter. ETH is already mainstream and the second one in terms of market capitalization. There are other competing blockchains on the rise, you never know. This is why it is important to be diversified.

It surely will. Just a matter of time. Bitcoin is too expensive to buy, so people who already own it will be just holding it. Newbies will invest in altcoin, especially in ethers, cuz it's the most popular one. I'm sure that 2018 will be year of Ethereum like 2017 was year of Bitcoin.

With a lot of issues in Ethereum networks seems that it wont happen in the near future,LTC is my bet would be a nice coin to watch has more potential than the others and it is mature,LTC price rise exponentially in less than a year.

Ethereum is already a leader of this altcoin market and is the next to bitcoin and major challenger to bitcoin. Ethereum is just started its bull run and will go to moon.

IMHO Ethereum will not lead the Cryptocurrency market as whole as I believe the future of the market is to have few cryptocurrencies with different ideas and use cases behind them. Consequently, we shall have an ecosystem of few coins which will help each other to obtain different goals (BTC -> store of value, LTC -> fast payments etc. )

Definitely Ethereum is on the good path to become the most important coin for FinTech industry and be technology of interest for big corporations in this industry. In such way, it will indeed lead the market. However, if you ask if it will totally overcome BTC? Personally I doubt it (at least not in a short term)

First place always will belong to Bitcoin. But battle for second one will be in the futures. ETH has Vitalik and he is a locomotive of all process and development and advertising.
Vitalik and ETH will be at second place and you need to have great opportunities to change that.

It has a good standing in the market but no way that Ethereum will lead the entire crypto economy. Bitcoin is still at it's finest and best crypto of all that affects every cryptocurrency. I'm an ETH investor but still I'm not going to say or stick with it that one day ETH will lead it. ETH is also experiencing some problems that are the same with bitcoin so instead of preferring ETH to lead the way still many will stick to bitcoin.

Ethereum has been gaining strength, no doubt about that. But it's hard to trust anyone in full on whether or not it's going to lead the market as the leading cryptocurrency. A leading one, i.e. one of the leading - why not, it's already there. Here's what I've thought: a cryptocurrency doesn't need to be the leading one to be successful.

It could probably happen in the distant future especially when bitcoins price keeps on increasing, then definitely there is a possibilty that Ethereum could take over bitcoin when the right time comes. But no one can speculate around when that could happen because it still depends on bitcoins demand on the market.

In all the market there. Bitcoin is the largest and indestructible barefoot. unless of course there will be some sort of catastrophe. But in the sphere of altcoyin it is obvious.

In my opinion the market cap between ETH and BTC should be smaller. Don't know it bitcoin should go down are Ethereum up. I would say maximum Bitcoin should be 2x.

Ethereum is very popular today because of ICO, because of PoW, because it is lovely. But something absolutely amazing must happen to this coin so it can become number 1. It will struggle to remain on the 2 place more likely because the competitors are not sleeping. Also nobody knows what will happen after the change to PoS.

One thing is sure Ether is going to be good for future as many projects going with this technology if he is not going to beat bitcoin he is surely going to be very good in future which is good for bitcoin  these both have very good future and good way of investment for thousands of peoples here in this community

I think that Ethereum will never lead the cryptocurrency market,as that will be done by the Godfather himself Bitcoin. However, I think that Ethereum is better than Bitcoin, its just wasn't first, Bitcoin was.
