CEX.IO SCAM - took my money!

What happened::
Over a month ago I opened an account with CEX.IO and verified it for a higher transaction limit.  I requested to finance my account using wire transfer.  I wired the money using the account details they provided.  It has been over a month now with no confirmation from them regarding my wire transfer and I've opened several support requests with nothing more than a "We're experiencing a high load of request.  Thank you for being patient."  I've tried emails as well as directly PMing their profile on bitcointalk.org.  At this point I'll consider myself lucky if I ever see that money again.  I've filed a complaint with the financial ombudsman and my next step will be to take legal action.  Let this serve as a warning to anyone who is considering wiring money to their CEX.IO account.

It is a very unfortunate situation, you said that you came in contact with @CEX, right? So he ignored you and did not solve your problem? so you are more than right to look for the most effective method to solve your problem, this method is to find a lawyer and he will deal with the other steps.

I think here's the supposed address of them, Do not give up fighting for your rights, many internet sites have no respect for your customers and steal your customers, but these sites forget that in this world there are laws that protect people and laws are to obey

Let this serve as a warning to anyone who is considering wiring money to their CEX.IO account.

I am definitely recommending you to NOT send them any money.  Not worth it at all!

Not sure CEX.IO is a scam, maybe they have some problems, but me and my friend are using it for some time now any without problems

I am having the same problem with CEX.IO. I wired them $5000USD and my bank informed me they received the money.  


Not sure what to do from here. I've made support tickets, they respond back asking for additional information that I already sent them in the same ticket!!!

CEX.io are heavily backlogged, in all departments. Which is why they don't even let people register on their site currently, only allowing in a handful few new accounts sporadically. So far they have never 'scammed' anyone out of their money. Albeit they are extremely slow at processing WIRE transfers. Just keep pestering them on social media and here on BTT but try to keep only 1 support ticket opened at any given time.
