I think I still go for Monero. Good development team, in my opinion the best private coin.
The others have more competition in their area.

xmr and ltc are the right choice, I'm sure in the year 2018 later both will go up and more expensive than the previous year.
but you also do not forget btc and eth, in my opinion it should be in your portfolio list.

depends on your altcoin list,
Litecoin is the best choice for me,, then XMR
we will see litecoin hit more than $1000 next year, just my opinion

Monero and qtum are better coins for 2018, especially qtum. But litecoin will continue to rise in following years even it crashes because of mining.

all of these coins are great to hold long term. each one has a big investors. they all hold long term too.
litecoin already pumped. i think it may be best to buy qtum

The three of them would always be my choice. What is the point of holding just one when they are all doing well in the market and they sure have a lot of prospect. This year, Alts have really had a huge run and who really knows what coming year would be for most of them?
