Hi,

Managed to setup rig and powered on with no blast or smell  Smiley BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP!!!  Smiley

In BIOS (UEFI Setup), as per Main, I have AsRock H81 Pro BTC R2.0 P1.20 board.

On Boot there is only SSD entry (AHCI P1: SAMSUNG....) but no options for USB.

Note:
In Advanced > USB Configuration, Legacy USB Support and Legacy USB 3.0 Support are already Enabled
In Boot > CSM (Compatibility Support Modules) > CSM is already Enabled
In Security > Secure Boot is already Disabled

Is there any issue with the board or am I missing something? Or do I need to update the BIOS from Tools > Easy Driver Installer option?

Looking forward and thanking you in anticipation.

Regards,

Rizwan

using usb to boot from is a shitty idea, use the ssd. rig will boot best on that. not to mention usb sticks were never ment to be treated as a hard drive and be used 24/7, eventually it will just die. seen people talk about it enough

Hi I need to boot from USB in order to install an OS on SSD.....

I had the same problem on Biostar TB 250 PRO BTC, it didn't recognize the already made USB with OS on it. What I did is as follows:

Found an option in the last tab of Biost where it said Restore defaults and reboot.
After this it started automatically the USB  with OS on it and started the installation.

You can give this a try. Our boards are almost identical (only mine has much much better options in the BIOS to configure Smiley ).

Tried with load defaults and put Win10  USB and it detected that.

Thank you all for your inputs.
