I think primedice is one of those gambling site with the lowest house edge which gives higher chance of winnings this maybe the reason why people consider this as a good gambling site. Having a higher chance of  winnings makes the site more interesting for gamblers I guess this must be consider by other casinos for them to have many players

for sure, bitsler, fortunejack, luckygames, etc offering 1% house edge too

Judging by www.dicesites.com it seems like Primedice is doing 50 million USD in volume a week. That's absolutely insane. I don't think there's many sites that come close to that. I Googles around a bit to see what turnover other casinos have and it seems Primedice is up there.

Go Bitcoin! Hopefully Primedice can help rise to the top and show everyone why Bitcoin is so amazing.

Yes I guess they would be ranked up there and considered one of the best casinos in the world with or without the bit coin. I wouldn’t know what their sites like anymore, about a year ago they banned by country. So they must of went completely legit therefore I’m sure opening up quite a few doors.

I'm curious how they make their calculations. Primedice is privately owned if I'm not mistaken, and they don't have to report anything to their investors because there are none. So the only way dicesites.com can do this is via watching the funds flowing in and out of their wallets. But how representative is that figure really? Does it show the real thing? Don't get me wrong, I don't mean anything evil, but many exchanges have been caught doctoring their trade volumes, so why casinos can't do essentially the same?

You can't compare the revenues of an online bitcoin casino with a casino in vegas or macao.

Basically an online casino can have very little overhead (not counting the bankroll). Basically run by less than a dozen employees. And not even require a real physical office building. It can basically be run out of a garage like Apple and Microsoft back in the days.

A vegas casino spends tons of money to upkeep the hotel, air conditioning in 120F weather, comping drinks and food and hotel rooms, paying wages to hundreds of employees, etc.

I cant say Primedice is a casino, it is a dice site only. A casino in general should have some variety games, so the answer for your question is primedice is not one of the largest casino in the world. It is one of the largest dice site in the world and maybe the largest in this bitcoin gambling community.

In cryptocurrency there is no doubt that Primedice is number 1 casino and one more thing, they don't need any investment from their users to fill their bankroll. Now I wonder how much BTC they have in their pockets? Cheesy

Anway, 2.5k BTC wagered weekly is really insane, with the house edge alone they are making 25btc per week Shocked

its enough amount they can cover their staff salary 100 Btc a month approx as per your judgement
They Are already earning very big amount why they require investment from users which is Chiller as compare to their weekly turnover,

Primedice is the one of the oldest website which hold large amount of bitcoin may 2013.Primedice allows players to place bets on the outcome of a random number generator

its not largest casinos of world. Some offline casinos are there also

Like panjul said at first this is not casino but it is just huge dice site because of some variance of games that you will called it casino. And 100 btc for their staffs salary I do not think they will get those amount every month. I would think that they get some precentage or some shares from primedice since primedice really have huge bankroll to be shared for their employees

Well the proof is that they are't looking for any type of ICO or any type of additional bank-roll funding.

Why split your profits when you have enough money in your cold storage to just get all the revenue yourself.

Only issue with Primedice that I forsee in the future is more regulation towards online gambling which might lead to more countries forbidding it. Governments will realize that they aren't getting a decent cut of the revenue and they will make people gamble at the local physical casinos where they do get a cut.

They don't take US or UK customers which must make them very hard to be up there honestly.

But if still want to access these sites where these sites are blocked can access by using a proxy or vpn. I think still many people may be gambling from these two countries even though it is banned. Primedice is one of best dice site but they need to add many other games if you want them to call it as a casino.

of course people are using PD from those countries.
i know PD whales from the US, VPN ftw. Ain't no country ban stopping them.
Also, not only games, they need to add altcoin support to expand their casino because bitcoin fees currently is ridiculously high and casual gamblers can't afford it. Recently stunna asked for community feedback and everyone suggested for altcoin support, i think it maybe implemented very soon. They might also be adding more PVP and multiplayer games.

They might be adding alt coins in their next version as the team behind it is thinking about adding alt coins for the first time and everyone is waiting for that to happen,if the news OP said is true fifty million a week is an insane amount of money and sure prime dice is the most successful bitcoin based gambling site and looking forward for their new addition of alt coins.

All porn sites are banned in my university, But us students love to break the rules, Don't all teenagers love doing things against the rules?
Proxies and VPN have made online site bans a joke, why you so outdated?
AKCoinMiner, the biggest whale Primedice has ever seen (-871 BTC Profit  Shocked) is from USA, No country ban can stop gamblers from gambling.

Primedice has a tough competition for the spot of largest online casino from Just-Dice. But with the launch of Stake and extending from just Dice to other fun casino games, I won't be surprised if Primedice surpasses Just-Dice in wagered Amount by 2018

You gotta realize that using a VPN to access and gamble with is very different than using VPN to access porn behind some university hub.

If you want a good example, look at what Bitfinex is doing to people who are caught accessing their Bitfinex account pretending to be non-USA.

They are getting their accounts frozen and support is not replying. And in that scenario its very risky and might lead to loss of funds.

It depends on the site itself imho, here in this case Bitfinex is not a gambling site so they may have different rules about VPN but I do not think Primedice will do the same thing (freezing account which uses VPN). Obviously, it is always better to ask the site's admin before using VPN to access the site to avoid unexpected problem in the future.

I think exchange sites and gambling sites are different because gambling sites will not ban you just for using VPN or proxy to access their sites. Because they need more and more players to site so as long as they don't cheat the system and play games by depositing money gambling sites will be happy because they know that they can make money from these players. I never heard that any players winnings are withheld for the reason they were using VPN or Proxy.

I'd like to see PrimeDice add support for other currencies as well, but I guess for now we have 999dice.

I don't think its fair to mention a scam dice site along with primedice. If you are looking for a dice site that supports altcoins, there are lots of them out there, i think its only primedice who are left behind not using altcoins

I do not think that primedice and 999dice have ane related things to do since primedice is very old site which is very trust worthy mean while 999dice is just some scam site which already scam alot of people yet you said that site again on primedice thread. Does not make sense yo anything you said here. And btw such a big site like primedice do not even need to add some other altcoin to support them, I think they pretty good on managing their bankroll
