*Litecoin Top???*

So Litecoin is over $350. Does anyone think it will dip below $300 anytime soon? Or are we looking at 400+ soon? I'm new to the crypto game.

it is hard to say really. in the altcoin market things are sometimes so linked together that you need to see what will happen in other places to be able to speculate about something else!

for example if bitcoin continues rising, LTC will surely follow and break new ATH with it. but if bitcoin drops there is a good chance that LTC would also follow it down and lose a significant percentage of its current price.
and when you are talking about an altcoin's USD value, it is tightly related to bitcoin's USD value.

It will dip below $300 after the new year during a market correction and I think it will even go below $250 if not $200. 2018 will be the year litecoin falls in the top market cap ranks.

I think you're right about Litecoin being the silver in the crypto space but why would silver replace gold? Litecoin is not much different than Bitcoin other than some characteristics. If Bitcoin would somehow fail as a payment sytem then so does Litecoin. The only reason Litecoin is much faster and cheaper as a payment system is the fact that their traffic is much lower.
