Okay, so here's my plan.  Each entry costs 0.01 BTC.

- There will be 500 'tickets' which will net me sub 5 BTC with tx fees, so somewhere in the 4.8 to 4.99 BTC area.  (Somewhat in the area of the probability.  It average hashes around 5,500 - 5,700 MH/s)

- I will mine at the winners choice of pool, and the miner will have a pretty reliable uptime due to the fact that I work at home and am nearly always around my computer.

- You can buy any number of entries that you would like.  Each entry, again is 0.01 BTC, so if I get a tx of 0.07 that means that's 7 entries and you will have 7 consecutive entries into the drawing.

- The minimum buy in is 1 ticket and the maximum is the remaining amount of tickets available.  I will update this as often as possible with addresses and ticket numbers/ranges and update the remaining tickets left.

- The raffle will go on until 500 tickets are purchased or until September 1st, 2013 at which time either it has reached a "break even" on my end, or if not refunds will be given to everyone who has entered.

- Winning number will be chosen from Random.org via 3rd party to ensure no cheating takes place!

- Downtime should be extremely minimal, very reliable connection 50+ Mbps Down 10+ Mbps Up.  AMD 3.33GHz Hex Core, 32GB Memory.

- (Other terms to be added if necessary.  Didn't want to add a disclosure, as it should be pretty simple and straight forward.  You won't OWN it, you'll be virtually renting it for 30 days.)

To buy the raffle ticket(s), send your BTC coinage to: 1DPvXip7XEdMvTK1LEKDYEypCcW9uGAaXJ

I sent from 1RichGe5xNJuMk6F84JqTjn6rwovvDe79.

If that address wins, send mining earnings to that address.

EDIT: Sent another 5 cBTC.

Not really.  It's a minimal gamble of $1 basically, that nearly anyone can afford and the ones that can afford $10 - $20 can knock off a nice chunk of entries.

BTCMiners.net, it would be a good idea to set a cutoff date for entries.

BTCMiners.net, it would be a good idea to set a cutoff date for entries.

I am actually contemplating this right now, funny you had brought it up.  I thought this would go off a lot better than my initial assumptions..

There are a few things that I would like to address as, I have no trust; so I can see why perhaps some people maybe turned off by the initial plan.  Secondly it just simply hasn't built the momentum that I thought it would, as I do not believe anyone has ever done this before and I expected a better turn out.  I'll edit my original post, but perhaps the cutoff should be September 1st, 2013.  If not all BTC is there than I'll just refund all balances to everyone.  Hopefully that might gain some popularity among possible interested individuals?  Let me know your thoughts. Just an example of the past few days.. I pointed my miner to a new address as I have a new computer now.  So, while it's mining on the new address the old one will still be receiving payouts but you can see what P2Pool has been paying me on this address.
