Is there any legitimacy to the rumor that XRP and DASH will be added to coinbase

I’ve heard the rumor a couple of times that XRP and DASH will be added to coinbase some point in the near future. Have you heard it too, and if so, is there any legitimacy to that rumor? That would explain the recent boost in price of Ripple and DASH, although I am yet to hear the rumor from anywhere except random users on BTC Talk.

Put it this way...Ripple HQ is just around the corner from Coinbase HQ and RIpple is the crypto that's got the most going for it right now on the planet. It doesn't take a genius to work out what's going to happen soon.

I know all of these are just speculation but XRP getting on to coinbase is lot higher than Dash. XRP is backed by many partnerships and also 100s of banks use their platform for money transferring which is actually a good sign though it's a centralised coin it might get added to coinbase.
But in the end Coinbase only lists coins which are profitable to them.

There is no official interview or press release from the coinbase team like that as of now. I am a coinbase user from the past 2 years, if these kind important notice means normally they use to send the email to their consumers. As of now there is nothing like that.
If they wanna added, I will suggest to add the DASH and XMR because growth rate is simply superb in the marketplace circulation and in price wise.
Lets wait to check what is decision of the coinbase team do in this matter.

Has the most going for it? ← That’s a legitimate question I’m asking.

What advantages does it have? I really don’t know much about Ripple, although it really never seems to come up in discussion, and when I do hear about it often it’s negative.

I've also seen some threads about it, I'm also confused. whether this will happen or just a rumor? I've been searching for this, but have not got a definite answer. Whether from coinbase already give a statement about this?

Just rumor and speculation. Speculation because Dash is a fork of Bitcoin sharing the same code base therefore easily added to the existing framework.

Dash also has a large marketcap, low fees and good usability .

The addition to coinbase has not been added into the price of Dash yet so it is still a good time to buy some
