I've been seeing the name Digibyte thrown around recently and a lot of people are claiming that the price will go up. Will it be something like Verge? I'm trying to understand why Digibyte is going to go up (because .04 is a perfect price point to buy), and can't find any solid evidence.

That may seem funny now, in fact digibyte is only undervalued one among the big coins, nobody can give me a reason for digibyte not to make 100x in 2018 or any year.

DigiByte has some advantages. DigiByte transactions are 40 times faster. DigiByte can currently handle 300 transactions per second. DigiByte also has five decentralized mining algorithms to protect the network. This mining facility can make that currency more marketable and increase its long-term capitalization. It is promising, but I do not think it will rise 100% in 2018

Now many coins have given good growth. If every coin is considered a bitcoin receiver, then there are many receivers. Do not you find it?

When you see its history , then you will see digibyte swinging between 0,01$ and 0,04 $. But with the option to buy it with sepa payment could result a stable high. It profits from the growing popularity of Bitcoin.

Digibyte's an old one, so it has the benefit of standing the test of time.
It still has very active development on it, so the tech is getting better and better.

The blockchain itself is far technically superior to btc.
It scales much better and with faster transaction speeds.

...but really, is that enough for it to go up 100%?
In order for it to rise that high, a significant amount of all the new money coming into btc will have to go to digibyte.
Why would a new investor ever consider dgb over ltc, monero, eth, or all the others.

2018 will be  hype year, with so much new money the coins that will do best are the ones that are well known, well used, easily liquidable, and mainstream.

But, on the other hand, a good colleague of mine believes 2018 will be all about scalability so if my friend is right, then dgb definitely has an advantage.

What's the reason?

I mean.. DGB is an old coin with some benefits, but x100?
Digibyte is faster than Bitcoin, but still slower than most of the new coins.
It's secure, but not so much as "true-secure" coins like Monero or Dash. Or even XVG.

I can't find any blow-up news related to Digibyte, so what's the reason? Do you have some inside? Please share.

This showed a sudden growth few months back, but that didn't last for a longer time period. Once again recently the growth took place high comparatively. With such a growth I don't think it'll make a 100x growth in a short or long. Better is to keep hold and make use of the marginal variations.

Digibyte will probably grow and I believe in it for the long term but I think 100x is out of the question. That would make it over $35bn market cap and 4th with current prices on the market cap list, just too much growth for me.

I love the bit about give me a reason why it won't x100 lol can say that about all other tokens too. It's not why they wouldn't it's why they WOULD
