Has the Bitcoin crash just started?

I don't think so, I suspect that this is just a minor sell off and the price will be back to 19k in a day or two, I think if a crash was going to happen it would be a lot more severe than this.

Bitcoin crashed a bit and Bitcoin Cash was pumped a lot. Maybe these two events have a connection between themselves. Anyway I still believe Bitcoin will increase its price by the end of the year, it's just recharging its power and preparing itself for the final massive bump of 2017, I hope so!  Smiley

With a so high volatility, what for any other currency would be a unbelievable crash, for bitcoin is just a simple correction.
I think that - if a crash will be - it still very far

Don't mistake a crash with a health correction. If you haven't bought in yet, just wait until the next rally and never catch a falling knife.

Usual correction of 5-10%, nothing to worry about so far. Of course with the price bitcoin has reached, a 5% correction means minus 1000$ on price, this could frighten newbies.

Agreed. If anything, this is going to push people to start buying more. They're soon going to realize they won't get many more opportunities to purchase sub 18,000 in the future. Will probably continue the cycle of up and downs by having another surge after this correction. Bitcoin's got a pretty cyclical nature and I think it's secure enough to the point right now that people aren't trying to get rid of it (aka, no major drops soon).

This...

Bitcoin is not what it used to be, too many people know about it now. Anytime it dips it gets bought up so fast, back in 2014/2015 this wasn't the case. Also with institutional money involved I think it's safe to say we will never see another sub 10k bitcoin price.

One thing people are missing is that there has been little to no bad news around bitcoin lately. If we had an exchange hack or something like that maybe a real crash could happen ya know?

This is most probably just a normal and healthy correction. I wouldn't be afraid as long as there's no bad news yet.

Don’t think that this is a bitcoin crash because it will not happen. It is just a correction and it will rise again and will reach a new height again. Let’s make this an opportunity to buy some bitcoin to increase our investment to have more profit.

The high volume and slow speed indicate correction rather than crash. However I'm not going to potentially catch a falling knife and want to see some reversal play out first.

It is not the time to be on panic to sell. Price for sure will create to jump high. Bitcoin always happen to dump and pump. So better to hold for a while and wait it to grow again.

Has the Bitcoin crash just started?

In my opinion, no. Obviously bitcoin has stopped its rise to $20k but that doesn't mean that it is not able to break it again some time in the future. In fact i believe that $20k is going to fall to bitcoin by the end of the year.

These sort of dips are usual, especially if you take into account the rise of alts in comparison to bitcoin.

When alts rise, usually bitcoin will go down and that is exactly what's happening. You're seeing bitcoin dominance go down under 50% which is highly artificially low. IT'll come up to 50%+ once again very soon, and bitcoin will rise while alts hype dies off.

Here we go again... What crash? People get serious, please! Sometime I think that bitcoin started to attract only people who don't know anything about it all.
Volatility and price corrections are normal for bitcoin and there is a big difference between crash and correction. I know that 2000$ or 3000$ looks a lot but look how high the price is, this is in the same ratio like 200$ or 300$ on the price of 3000$ or 4000$. Before you start to panic inform yourself first.

Doubting no counts for this current growth happening since bitcoins proves that the rise of it is unstoppable and we can't really tell on what will be the upcoming fortune will bitcoin gives to us but lets just grab the current opportunity given by the bitcoins and maybe I think that the dip will happen next year. We are on peak and the adoption keep spreading, and that could make bitcoins reach for 20k$ or more.

I dont think bitcoin is on crash it is the starts of correction I guess. Yes, when bitcoin price rises there is a time for going down. The best for now in this correction is wait for dips and buy btc it will surely soaring high.

Each time bitcoin increase its value we have dozens topics from people who think bitcoin is bubble and on every single correction people are opening threads about crash, every single day, over and over again.
It's not crash it is correction. You can't call 17000$ crash!

It's just a correction especially if there is no major bad news that could possibly ruin Bitcoin's reputation.

Stop waiting for a crash bro, because you will never see one. Forget all the bullshit being spread by the media and some fake whales, all they want is just to scare the newbies. This is a correction, a pretty big one and that is all anyone is ever going to see right now. If you think I am wrong, then keep waiting for a crash and tell me in the next few years if you have been able to buy into one.

What happened with the price of bitcoin yesterday and today is a common speculation. Knowledgeable people withdrew their money from bitcoin and invested in bitcoin cash, now they sell cache and buy bitcoin again. Financial fraud, nothing more.

No one from the large hodlers is stupid enough to convert their precious coins into something to trashy as Bitcoin Cash. That coin got pumped by its shady creators that got it covered with their deep pockets.

They control the far majority of the circulating supply, which is basically them having bought their own coins on the way up. It's a classic form of manipulation that seems to make noobs go nuts and buy in at peak levels.

Anyone with common sense will just ignore Bitcoin Cash. Other than that, everything that happened was indeed nothing really special. If by now people still don't get how this market works, they likely never will.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.
