Huh Maybe I missed the feature in recent updates, but I'm pretty sure the QT client only has a password for each wallet, no PINs.

There's one password in encrypted wallets which you'd need to send coins. If you were to lose the password, the wallet would be useless.

The Bitcoin-QT client only supports an encrypted wallet via a password. If you forget the password you will not be able to access the wallet and the bitcoins contained in that wallet (because that is where all of the secret keys for the addresses are stored).

You will ALWAYS need the passcode to send coins from your wallet once you set it up. Even if you gotta write it down on paper and put it in a safe, always make sure you have some way to remember it, otherwise you will lose out on all your coins being worth anything. Smiley
