Hey, our relaunched site is now live and has started taking Bitcoin payments. We're a UK-based company with free 1st class recorded delivery to the UK and same-day dispatch before 12pm. We also ship internationally. It would be great if you could add our link to your list. Cheers! http://www.antminers.co.uk - Bitcoin mining hardware

You should not buy a warrant unless you are prepared to sustain a total loss of the money you have invested plus any commission or other transaction charges

Yes, i would like to order a tablet and phone from them but they don't accept. Would be good to see this soon.. I can't see why they'd pay out in BTC but not accept it. I wonder how it works for them because they could lose (or I guess make) a lot of money from fluctuations, but seems risky for a business like this.

Maybe they just want to try it out and see how much interest there is first. But yea it seems a little counter productive IMO.

www.takeaway.com - Local fast food and drinks delivered to your door. www.scan.co.uk - PC hardware. Though I've had loads of problems getting my Bitcoin order sorted with them. * *Back ordered a couple of power supplies, didn't show up on their back order system, initially said I didn't have an order because my payment was refused because it was a security risk, eventually convinced them I had an order and I'd paid for it, a month later eventually one of the power supplies came in stock, they wouldn't ship it without refunding the other one, so I agreed, PSU arrived, but another month on still not seen the refund for the other one despite them phoning me and promising a cheque in the post! ** UPDATE: They've now e-mailed asking for my bank account details, it's on my to-do list.

thought i'd bump this with a couple of interesting ones i found in Edinburgh that have real valuable use to me. 1st is Umega Lettings, a property lettings agency, how fantastic that i can actually rent a house/flat to live in for BTC, absolutely delighted! http://www.umega.co.uk/2013/10/now-accept-bitcoin/Also delighted to see an independant taxi driver from Edinburgh accepting Bitcoin and also offers up to 50% reductions on jobs. I would 100% use this guy for airport runs or any journey that would make it worth his while coming out from Edinburgh into East Lothian. http://www.edinburghbitcointaxi.com/Taxi's and property rentals ! fantastic , WTG Edinburgh

Hey, There is also http://www.bitcoinbazaar.co.uk who sell some lovely furniture as well as home/kitchen stuff and appliances. And http://www.bitcoinseedstore.com who sell a mix of cannabis seeds and chilli seeds for a variety of cryptos. I ordered a sick desk from The Bazaar about a month ago and some seeds from the other one a little while back and was very happy with them both. It's nice to see how many business solely related to bitcoin are popping up

I contacted the company in Glasgow that claims to be the first car leasing company in the world to accept Bitcoin, their reply was
" we only accept Bitcoin for the administration fees of our car leasing services."
What a con, pure marketing con, they don't accept bitcoin for car leasing at all, just wanted some free publicity.
also, The Chocolate Tree (Map) – Artisan chocolatiers specialising in hand crafted chocolates, Edinburgh.
they don't accept bitcoin even when i told them i wanted to place a big order, so delete them please

Hi Guys and Girls,
I'm new to Bitcoins but the way I understand it any financial transaction to buy services and product s is fee free? Unlike paypal which charges a huge amount to use their services. Wouldn't this change the whole financial system for the ordinary working man and take away huge profits to Wall Street and the global economy? Jo

Well that's the plan. There is a tiny fee which goes to the miners for processing the transaction. You can read about fees here: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Transaction_fees

I heard about localbitcoins GB, bittylicious, etc which help you to transact through them when you're in UK itself! Quite easier these days now to manage BTC from desired locations.
