Was looking to create a game where both the user and developer could make some of a cryptocurrency by mining. Yes, I know the speed is slow for mobile, but I am hoping to get a large playerbase. How would I go about making the app mine on their phones  (Yes it will be agreed to by the user)?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Maybe contact the people that run the link in my sig link.  They have that set up.  I just have to click a button that agrees it will be running and using data.
