Hi

Am new to this but so far i have downloaded and trusted bitpay as my android wallet and it seems secure, or should I move to a PC/Windows wallet instead ??...

Now am thinking of buying either Three Antminers S9(s) or even this new DragonMint rated @ 16 TH/sec and less power usage, so ANY trusted websites to buy from along with PSU to get internationally shipped ??...

Finally, am really concerned about Noise, are the fans for both going to run at full speed all the time (which is going to be really noisy) ?? or are they going to run at variable speed depending on temperature ??

Am planning to stack all three miners on a single platform with AC hitting right at them, is this a good idea to get low noise or silent operation somehow  Huh Huh

Thanks in advance...

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

You buy Antminers from here: http://bitmain.com/
And the DragonMint can be purchased from here: https://halongmining.com/shop/dragonmint-16t/

They are both out of stock so you should wait. They don't have any information about restocking but they haven't shipped the previous batch they sold yet so it will be a little while.
You could try to get some second-hand units through ebay or the marketplace section in this forum.
You should make sure that you have the electrical infrastructure to run them.

You should make sure that you have the electrical infrastructure to run them.

I am planning to run the miners at my apartment in a relatively modern bldg, any problems there ??...

Any idea if the miners fans run at full speed all the time or variable speed according to the temps ?...

thanks,

There was the news a few days ago  that the authorities  held a transportation of a few miners on a polish border, they confiscated them. The official reason is that the devices were not equipped with polish user manual and polish electrical certification. Wow ....

If buying directly from bitmain.com doesn't bring you what you want you can try ebay.com, there'r a lot of people who couldn't even set their miners right and now got them up for sale, good prices, I bought some erupters a few years ago.

You can find bitcoin mining applications in your own field and this is the right way for you miners as a fiat currency, you can make big profits quickly.

You must be wise in making the decision to start your mining.

Yes I just saw it and there was a huge uproar because of this price increase considering that the mining difficulty will also continue to increase.

From what I see, The antminer s9 receives a very huge demand from the community so most probably bitmain is taking advantage of it since despite what the others says on various social media platforms people will still buy it and all the slots for each batch will still be taken in just a short amount of time.
