Trade ether to buy more nem before the 21st?

I currently hold both Ethereum (11) and nem (1000). I’ve heard there’s something big happening on the 21st regarding nem and wechat, and will make the price jump. I’m unsure if this is true (& obviously still new to all of this). Would it be wise to trade in an ether for more nem before said date? Just looking for opinions!
