I was going to shift my btg to bch but was waiting for a dip! 

I think BCH is backed by online gaming and porn as a spendable currency, so I think that it will readjust but not collapse, and will gain long term.  Something usable, with a brand name and a low fee is a good thing for online commerce.  Its a shame core is focused on offchain scaling, a small blocksize increase wouldn't be as drastic as made out and i think a lot of pain would have been saved if there was everyone pulling together.

Looks like Coinbase was not able to handle the surge in BCH's price and that's why they have halted the exchange for some time.
It's ridiculous seeing some shit currency go up so high in price. On the other hand the price of BTC has gone down and this could be a coincedence.
It seems to me like they are manipulating the coins and pretty much getting successful in it. BCH has crossed $3500 on coinmarketcap and the sudden surge makes me wonder how soon the coin will dump.

Well i cant say i am totally blindsided by coinbase adding bitcoin cash to their site. After all there has been talk for months of this being in the works. What gets me is how it made bitcoin price drop so drastically due to a simple listing.  I also do not think the price that is listed on coincase is warranted in my opinion. I hope coinbase is not going to start listing trash coins just because they carry the name bitcoin.

No, it's not actually. It's a not so classic pump to soar move by Roger and his disciples. They down't want to leave Bitcoin Cash followers holding the bag of shit, they want Bitcoin Cash to take off. Bitcoin cash will never replace bitcoin, people are buying bch only because bitcoin mempool is full of unconfirmed transactions and fee is high. Many whales are spreading fud that bitcoin fee will remain like this however the fact is that it is just a temporary increase because miners are mining bitcoin cash rather than bitcoin right now.
