I got new etherum gpu mining rig. It stops functioning after 5 mins of  running claymore. The video goes blank then the whole gpus stop. I am running 6 gpu 580rx Amd and Asus 270p motherboard. Any idea for the problem?

Did you set max temperature and target temperature.

some program like overdrive n tool can turn off your GPUs to protect to burn.

Give us more details. What is number of the driver version you are using currently? It could be that you are not using the optimal drivers for your gpus.

Hello,

What is your PSU ? It could be not powerful enough. What happend if you unplug one or two GPU, does it work then ?

Do you also check the GPU temperature ? You can set a maximum temperature in Claymore's option, I suggest you try it

Try to run without overclocking and see if it continues to run or is it still goes down. I had similar problems at the beginning using win10 and problem didn’t aprear after reducing the over clocking.

Sounds to me like a PSU issue. Can you provide more details on the rest of your gear?
Also indicating the temperatures after the mining started would be helpful.

I am using same exact drivers for.I am running crimson relive edition beta compute driver for Windows 10 64 bit for rx580 hynix memory. Using same exact version on another rig without any probe. Same hynix rx580

Have you tried mining on single GPU only, a lot of reasons to be the culprit and needs to be addressed one by one.

Try to install single GPU on PCI-e 16x slot, in this way you would determine the PSU and Risers excluding them on the list when the problem is the same.

Then you may now have an idea on the remaining hardwares and softwares to be checked.

You still did not give information regarding your Power Supply, there is a huge chance it might be that one causing it. But if you are having the exact same issue with one-card only with a roughly 400-500W avg PSU that means your issue is the either riser or Motherboard.

Many asked about disclose your rig configuration: hardware/software. Your symptoms can said about various problems: from bad plugged power connector to software incompatibility or GPU BIOS error
