Hey, so Im looking for either a recent relevant post or information on what I would need to purchase (besides GPU's) to build a GPU rig, Im pretty newb with computers, I know ill need a Power Supply, CPU, RAM, and the GPU's other than that though, I am sort of at a loss as to what I should buy from there to make sure I have success when it comes to my ALT mining machine.

Wowsers!  What will you plug all of those components into?  Don't forget, your OS cannot be stored in RAM.

Ok, I want you to walk back in there and very calmly, very politely tell the risk assessors to fuck off! -Mark Baum

Consider your budget, if you're on a tight financially choose AMD's they have a great hashrate's on specific coins when modded, however if budget is not an issue, go for GTX, they are way more flexible on mining coins but a way more higher in terms of pricing.

Consider also your Rig design, locations for temperature management and power house.

I'm sure you don't want to caught fire when mining.

I wrote this last week and updated it with available parts two days ago. It has a budget-friendly approach as well as a higher priced suggestions.  You can modify it as needed to fit your budget by getting less card and a lower PSU if needed.
