Not bad at all. I assume its the 6870 at that price right? The window title and model say 6970 but the box and short descript say 6870.

If you're not excited by the idea of being an early adopter 'now', then you should come back in three or four years and either tell us "Told you it'd never work!" or join what should, by then, be a much more stable and easier-to-use system.

Yes it's the 6870. It looks like 6970 is the Diamond Multimedia model# for the card, but the chipset is the 6870 (and I knew that going in).

That was the clearance price, only visible online, in the store the sticker was $209, but it rang through at the clearance price Smiley

aye, definetly grats on that price. =) 

Could you imagine finding a 6970 clearance to that? ;p

I definitely did the double-check on the 6790 but even as a 6870, the deal was still great Cheesy

Now I just need to get power to it, lol. Lots of wattage but no so much for connectors.

Got that 6870 running now at a nice 304 Mh/s, not too bad at all Smiley
