many of you may already know this, but for those who don't, here's an easy way to avoid paying high transaction fees when using Coinbase. first, create an account at GDAX.com. transfer any amount from your Coinbase account by clicking "Deposit." select the Coinbase Account tab, and enter the amount you want to transfer. then click "Withdraw" and enter an amount and BTC address. the last thing you have to do is verify that you are the owner of the account by entering a code sent via SMS, then simply click "Withdraw funds."
I'm not sure if there is a minimum amount, but I've transferred as little as .00011 BTC with no problem
