Welcome to Announcements with Host No. 2, Demetrick Ferguson, a show that provides you details on current events, upcoming projects in the blockchain space, and token offering details. We are attempting to provide you with details and information from the people who are creating projects, and we are not giving advice. Please do proper due diligence when considering investments.

Today we talk with Fred Dionne from DubDub. As the web becomes increasingly cluttered with out of touch content, invalid traffic and pointless attention based metrics, advertisers, content creators and publishers struggle to find the proper way to reach consumers. Sensory and content overload make it almost impossible to captivate and monetize audiences looking for targeted experiences.

By introducing the Interactive Video and Experience Protocol (IVEP), we look to reimagine the interactions among the participants involved in the digital experience ecosystem. The IVEP introduces digital layers which sit on top of any streamable content on the Internet and overlays hundreds of new interactive smart objects and functions that can be customized in real time to create the next generation of interactive experiences and significantly increase end user engagement. Nine brands out of ten expect to compete primarily on customer experience rather than price and product as the key brand differentiator. Customer experience is the new battlefield.

The IVEP’s economy will be tokenized and centered around dubtokens. A dubtoken is a multi-faceted unit of account offered to members of the IVEP Crypto Association with various utility, consumptive, trust, governance, transfer, growth incentive and loyalty attributes. Its holder has the right and limited license to use the IVEP protocol together with the underlying services offered by the community through a newly introduced decentralized application store (dApp Store).

This was very informative, thank you for sharing.

I hope in the future you will make more of these things, maybe even live Q&A?

I second that. AMA style of Q&A is the way to go IMHO.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I was actually really impressed with the video and the additional features. Had to take some time and scroll through the thread to see what other people thought about it and generally I see positive feedback. Also, I came across the porn discussion XD but honestly would be interested to see where this goes with the implementation regarding teaching/learning. Any thoughts on this?

just scrolled up and down through the whitepaper document as I was curious about that myself and there is some mention of it in 4.7 UNLIMITED USE CASES AND PROGRAMMABLE SMART OBJECTS. Not much but just a hint that it could be implemented in that area.

Got some time to listen to the interview, and it was really informative. Nice story at the beginning on early bitcoin investments XD I was curious about copyright infringement and they talk about it around the 28 min. mark, if anyone is interested.

Hah, if they can bring investors just like that, then they would fill the hardcap on day 1

Yeah this is serious project, and i doubt this would happen, but even if it did, when you have quality team, you just keep working even harder and you continue till next sale.

Hard work usually pays off.

I doubt any serious project would announce the name of the exchange, that would be violation of NDA.

And IVEP seems like a serious project.

You keep working on,and make another sale.Good teams wont be stopped at that, and those  who stop were not meant to succeed anyway.

Hard work usually pays off.

Based on the interviews, I think (especially what I've heard from previous endeavors like dubcandy) that the team is solid and already has successful projects behind them.
I'm interested to see where this goes because it is quite interesting from a technological perspective and not to mention that it actually ups the game for the content creation.

The current advertising or marketing business, whatever you wanna call it, is to intrusive and annoying...so there just has to be a technology that will enable content creators to provide "points of interest" when you're watching a video.

Exactly, something has to be done, bith from consumer pov,and advertising,as in current sitiation, both sides are loosing. So Hopefully IVEP can be solution to that.

I agree...it's like if you're watching a video and for example see a guy drinking a beer and if you want to know what beer he's drinking, you're gonna click it. However IVEP could make possible that this kind of action doesn't require some annoying square or some shit to be outlined around the beer, but rather it could be blended in within the video.

Yeah,i have no doubts that IVEP will sort many things regarding that.Especially after i heared the interview with that dub team member, very well explained why IVEP will be huge!
