Somewhat newb question - I saw this custom gaming computer for $500 on my local CL, and was wondering what your thoughts are? According to cryptocompare the GPU has gives off 22 MH/s, which would render about 1.14 ETH a year ($905).

GPU sells for roughly $375 and the mobo for about $110, seems like a good deal to me. Would I be able to add more GPUs to it?

Thanks!

And pardon my ignorance on this matter, just trying to find a low-cost way to get into self mining.

As far as I know computers like that only have one GPU (Graphics Card) as the maximum.

I just asked about using a Personal Computer for mining and was told that it is definitely not worthwhile under any circumstance.

You are better off purchasing something like a ASIC Bitcoin Miner machine.

"Since it’s now impossible to profitably mine Bitcoin with your computer, you’ll need specialized hardware called ASICs."

render about 1.14 ETH a year ($905). unless you are going to run that pc 24/7 and never use it you wont get that within a year
do us all a favor, do yourself lots of research and build a dedicated rig instead of trying to use some fucking gaming pc which might I add having a gpu in a computer case going full bore while mining is just torture for the gpu but youd know that had you don't some got danm research before you decided to ask straight up dumb questions. see if you had of done the research before hand you wouldn't be here asking such a dumb question that's asked MULTIPLE time per week by every noob and there mother
