Hi there,
Seems like I'm missing an ASIC on the 3rd board and that the temp is not reporting back as well.
It's a used S9, but wondering if I should be worried about this and if there is a fix?

There is no fix that you can do yourself. Just be glad the board still hashes. The repair of something like this out of warranty is not cheap.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

Phil you really need to stop telling people this. Firmware updates fix many issues on these machines. I have literally flashed THOUSANDS without killing a controller board. Claiming that its dangerous is just flat out wrong. People need to not be stupid and use the proper firmware for their machines but other than that there is no danger.

Stop buying industrial miners, running them at home, and then complaining about the noise.

That's just not true, ICs can be replaced quite cheaply. Technicians able to do this just aren't commonly found and they almost always get paid good money on corporate payrolls. Being forced to pay corporate fees for board repair is expensive but here's where I come in. I'm not able to get/hold one of these cushy corporate salarys because of a disability(the ADA does not trump ageism and a spotty resume). This is where I MUST innovate and adapt and voilà I think I've found a niche what I can flourish. I want to be the person people turn-to to replace burned out ASICs(and anything else preventing your miner from running at 100% or at all) out of warrantee.

Hell if I can get your miner back on line faster then the manufacturer even under warrantee that's money in your pocket and somthing to consider(if they have a huge repair backlog you could be out hundreds very quickly, bet their warrantee doesn't reimburse that).
