Do you see BTC continually forking and improving into something different and better? Do you see it existing as a freeway for large transactions between coins?

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

What does that difficulty graph you posted to do with the speed transactions are confirmed?

Here is what difficulty is:

The speed on which transactions are confirmed is not related to the numbers of miners/difficulty/hashrate.

But of course, since there is limited blockspace and more and more people want to transfer coins but they don't want or can't  use segwit transactions this will just get worse.
