Kambiz Djafari: “A price for Bitcoin from $25.000 to $50.000 seems possible to me”:
https://bitcoingarden.org/kambiz-djafari-price-bitcoin-25-000-50-000-seems-possible/

In 2018, bitcoin’s price might reach $50 000 but nowadays growth by 2000% at current price is impossible, according to CEO and Co-founder at Edgecoin.io Kambiz Djafari. Before Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Gibraltar, its organizers interviewed the future speaker concerning blockchain development and regulation in 2018, token sales and the forthcoming conference.

Q) Why is Bitcoin price growing? Are there any fundamental principles?

KD) Demand and supply. It really is as simple as this. Bitcoin has a groundbreaking technology in the blockchain. Since 2009, a lot has changed and technically more advanced products have hit the market, but Bitcoin is still the golden standard in Crypto Currencies and will keep this position for the foreseeable future....

Arwen Smit: “You can’t plan for everything in ICO preparation”. Interview with CMO at DOVU:
https://bitcoingarden.org/arwen-smit-cant-plan-everything-ico-preparation-interview-cmo-dovu/

Blockchain allows opening new business models and monetization methods. But during the preparation for an ICO you can not prepare for everything – something just won’t go according to plan. That’s why a strong team is needed, thinks Arwen Smit, the co-founder & CMO at DOVU blockchain platform for mobility ecosystem. In an interview with Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Gibraltar, where she is going deliver a presentation, Arwen shared her opinion on the role of blockchain in people’s lives, and spoke about the difficulties in preparing for the ICO.

Q) Hello, Arwen! Why did you choose ICO as a tool for raising money for the DOVU project development?

AS) Rule no 1: If you can realize your business model with a centralized database, use a decentralized database. However, if your business model can benefit from decentralization and tokenized incentivisation, it’s worth to consider a token sale.

New ecosystems are based on value. DOVU uses tokenized incentivisation mechanisms to align stakeholder incentives to stimulate value-adding behavior. For example, you could earn DOV tokens by sharing data or through responsible driving behavior. In turn, you can spend your DOV token on services within the mobility ecosystem, such as parking or EV charging. With blockchain technology, you can leverage micro-transactions and micro-rewards to monetize previously unmonetizable assets, opening up new business models....

I like your post but I would like to add the build in scarcity as an important factor. I think it would be hard to understand the extrem increase in value for BTC if you are unaware that there will only ever be 21 million bitcoins in the world.

Bitcoin Garden: Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Gibraltar discussed newly introduced licensing for blockchain companies
https://bitcoingarden.org/blockchain-bitcoin-conference-gibraltar-discussed-newly-introduced-licensing-blockchain-companies/

On February 8, Gibraltar hosted the first event from the Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference series. Over 200 people attended it; 17 speakers gave presentations. According to participants, the most topical reports were those dedicated to new blockchain legislation, organization of token sales, and cryptocurrency trading.

A representative of CastleHill, conference participant, has already published his report on the event. According to him, Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Gibraltar has changed his attitude to cryptocurrency and blockchain: “It became apparent to me that the blockchain technology is not a fad. I firmly believe that it will become a huge part of our future, and Gibraltar will lead the way!” he shared his impressions in the corporate blog. Other participants mark the intensive program, interesting topics, and wide opportunities for networking.

During Blockchain & Bitcoin Conference Gibraltar, experts discussed licensing of blockchain companies, the law on which has come into effect in early 2018, ICO (conduct, regulation prospects, and investments in tokens), and different aspects of tokenization.

The liveliest activity of the conference was the panel discussion. The role of moderator was taken by Naeem Aslam, Chief Market Analyst at ThinkMarkets, and Columnist at Forbes. The expert has huge experience of investing and trading at financial markets; he is a lecturer at the London School of Economics and holder of Young Irish Broker award. Together with six experts, he discussed the regulation of decentralized technologies....
