Hi,

I have for sale four 60GHps Butterfly Labs Single SCs. I was just now emailed by BFL that these items are being shipped. These units do not have power supplies. These units are opened and I have been mining with them. They are all consistently above 59.5 GHps.

I am asking for 98BTC each. You should have the payment to me or in escrow before 3pm or I may ship the next day.

Price includes priority shipping. If you want express, you will have to pay extra. If you want me to go to FedEx or UPS and use your account, that's fine. I've done that before and it's not a problem.

I am a highly trusted member and previous reseller of BFL products. You can see a previous sale thread here. Yochdog has vouched for me below.

Thanks,
Fjordbit

Sorry, but this isn't a charity. Even with a geometric increase of 20% difficulty every 2100 blocks (which is practically impossible), this unit will have 77 bitcoins of equity by October 11. As there's no practical way to order an ASIC miner by an October 11th delivery, this offer can't be taken seriously.

Besides, you just bought one for 92BTC, which personally, I think is a steal. There's no reason for a 18BTC discount.

Well, clearly they are breaking your door down to buy them at your price.....so knock yourself out.

If people don't want to pay a fair price, then I'll just mine with them.

"Fair" is such a loaded word.

My offer is on the table....I wish you well on selling them!

Absolutely.  No doubt in my mind at all that Fjordbit follows through on his deals.  I would deal with him again in an instant.

Looks like these are out for delivery today. Since there's no real bids, I'm going to open them up and mine with them. These are still for sale.

So, let me see if I have this right 102BTC at $105 is $10710 and no chance of ROI by $3,416 in the red assuming difficulty increase at a steady rate.

Wouldn't 69.46BTC ($7,294) be a fair price to gamble that difficulty does not increase at a higher rate?

Difficulty cannot grow exponentially over a long period of time. It is rate bound by suppliers, so it become linear after not too many iterations. Putting in a 1.3% daily increase in difficulty is simply bad modelling.
