I bought a coin in eBay, and it has many fingerprints on it Sad what is the best way to clean it? It is a gold plated coin

I don't know how much a hologram could take but with gold/silver you can just use a manual toothbrush and some washing up liquid to clean it up easily.

I read somewhere that vinegar works as well, but make sure and be careful, don't want to ruin it

Also, many coin collectors say to never clean a coin, or you'll ruin its collectibility.  I have no idea why, but just keep that in mind and do some research before you touch it.

Thanks for help. It's just a novelty coin, and there is no hologram. Im gonna try the toothbrush and see
