sorry I am absolutely stupid. so if I say something stupid please forgive me.
now I know that solo mining is almost impossible now days but I want to try for testing purposes. I happened to own a business selling pc hardware in Australia. and just got a delivery of 50 gtx 750 delivered. this was a deal with some other stuff I bought, I am planning to use all of them at one time to do some mining.
now I found some very use full things online when it come to solo mining from 2012. but now that information is outdated and I cant get the bloody thing to work.
my plan is to use litecoin wallet as the server and use cgminer to do the mining over a local network. now the hardware setup
pfsence firewalled router. 100/40mbps fiber network for internet. 1gbps network and switches. I got 25 gigabyte h110mb with cheap Celeron cpus and 2gb ddr4s with 30gb sd cards running windows home trial. main pc with a gtx 1080ti(personal gaming pc)
software plan.
installed litecoin wallet on main pc, (took forever to update) set ip 10.1.1.50. disable firewall.(no personal stuff on pcs. all wallets are 0 coins) remove antivirus.(just because)
then go to %appdata%/litecoin
create a litecoin.config
put
rpcuser=username rpcpassword=x rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcallowip=10.1.1.50 rpcallowip=10.1.1.51 rpcallowip=10.1.1.52 rpcallowip=10.1.1.53 rpcallowip=10.1.1.54 rpcallowip=10.1.1.55 rpcallowip=10.1.1.56 rpcallowip=10.1.1.57 rpcallowip=10.1.1.58 rpcallowip=10.1.1.59 rpcallowip=10.1.1.60 rpcallowip=10.1.1.61 rpcallowip=10.1.1.62 rpcallowip=10.1.1.63 rpcallowip=10.1.1.64 rpcallowip=10.1.1.65 rpcallowip=10.1.1.66 rpcallowip=10.1.1.67 rpcallowip=10.1.1.68 rpcallowip=10.1.1.69 rpcallowip=10.1.1.70 rpcallowip=10.1.1.71 rpcallowip=10.1.1.72 rpcallowip=10.1.1.73 rpcallowip=10.1.1.74 rpcallowip=10.1.1.75 rpcallowip=10.1.1.76 rpcport=9332 daemon=1 server=1 gen=0
block_nTime=1317972665 block_nNonce=2084524493
run-> cmd -> cd C:users\uname\desktop\litecoin\ ->enter
litecoin -server -listen
on 25 client pcs
set ip 10.1.1.51/76 download cgminer created a bat file on the same directory.
cgminer -o 10.1.1.50:9332 -u username -p x
no luck not connecting.. so I decided to turn off all firewalls and allow all traffic. and installed cgminer in main pc
and do some loopback stuff.
open cgminer url 127.0.0.1:9332 username username password x
output
[2017-12-21 23:03:51.312] Failed to resolve (?wrong URL) 127.0.0.1:9332127.0.0.1 URL stratum+tcp://127.0.0.1:9332 failed alive testing, reinput details
grrrr! 3 days now I am at this. so pissed now.
I can do bitcoin mining in slushpool on all the pcs. just cant get solo mining to work.
any ideas..
any help welcome. can I just get one miner to work for now if so I should be able to get the rest myself.
