The bonus shares are now closed. Just 11 days, DGC community poured in over 163,000 DGC. With such strong community support, I see a bright future for DGC. Thank you everyone for your support. We are all in it for the long run. As a token of appreciation, everyone on the list who donated 5000 DGC or more will receive one 2GB USB Flashdrives printed with the digitalcoin logo. For everyone else, you can order one when I have them in my hands. More details later. -tb-

Will this exchange be similar to something like Coinbase? If so what actions are being taken/considered to address potential regulation compliance, bank relationships ,etc?
It will be like btc-e that uses third party payment processors. Like btc-e in the sense that it won't transfer fiat to American users? Will U.S. based users of the exchange be able to send and receive U.S. dollars to and from this exchange through the 3rd party payment processors you mentioned in your reply?

DGC development is in need of funding to take it to the next level. Our goal is to reach 25,000 DGC. Baritus will provide all the details on how he plans to use the donated funds. We know DGC has the backing of a very large community so get your wallet out and give what you can. If you have any questions or concerns, voice them here.

I guess we all know how this all ended, With Baritus getting his wallet stolen. Crypto guru coder elite ninja security extraordinaire exchange builder uses unsecured Windows machine and can't even secure his personal wallet but wants to guard your money.Anyone really believe this? ~BCX~ Bold part we dont belive, underlined part we dont belive either.

While I am displeased with the outcome of cryptoave (i was one of the 'investors') baritus did keep our funds secure, after dealing with security threats he decided to close it down (this was before heartbleed had been discovered) and reimbursed everyone their money.
So BCX, while I'm not entirely against you or convinced by baritus' claims, please stop digging up old threads to fuel a FUD campaign. DGC doesn't need it.

~BCX~
Bold part we dont belive, underlined part we dont belive either. What's not to believe, his personal wallet with $30,000 USD of DGC was stolen from his unsecured Windows machine while soliciting donations to build an exchange. Doesn't operating an exchange involve securing funds? ~BCX~ I meant that he is not a "Crypto guru coder elite ninja security extraordinaire exchange builder" and that he can secure a wallet - hard thing was to keep the DGC secured from Baritus himself, sorry irony does very very bad in writing sometimes. I dont know why all dev`s with names staring with "Bar" always fuck up. Barwizi is on his third fail right now and Baritus about to embark on his fourth.
