It sounds more easy than it is i think. To see such a significant rise this also means the marketcap has to double from what it is now. It is still possible i think but there is gonna be a time when people are gonna see that there are much better options available.

Same as the prediction of the Op we've got the possibility to reach such an increased price. It's all about the trust and the common peoples participation into cryptocurrency use. In particular if few countries authorized bitcoin similar to that Japan did last year will suddenly pump the price high.

Its possible to " easy double" on this year although there are still bitcoin holders nowadays, unless if they burn that fake news about bitcoin circumstances which is false prediction and testimonials cause if that false continue to spread. the bitcoin price will fall dip more than our thoughts,  and all of btc holder will leave us and go to the altcoin or ripple.

@All. But when someone from the mainstream starts telling us that they are bullish, it really means they are trying to sell and dump on the greater fools in the market. That has been an old tactic used by whales, and it always works because people always follow what they say.

I think not all people will follow what they say because I am sure that there are many people will have different though and they will make their own move. they don't care about other people said especially if that person only want to take the benefits of the situations. they better to studied and learn from the situations and if they think that they need to make a move then they will move but if it's not, then they will not make any act and will be silent.

Sometimes it is hard to believe in all kinds bullish predictions especially in times of uncertainty in the bitcoin market, or in any cryptocoin market.

I know what you feel about it man but that's how the bullish market goes. 2017 is one of the best years that it all started out that impossible predictions happened and for this year while it's still early we can assume that it wasn't going to happen and it's too much prediction but that's possible and if that never happened for sure bitcoin will still increase x1, x2, x3 name it.

Theres really no certainty over bitcoin and other crypto currency over the past years, if you believe that in the past theres certainty then is called volatility.

What Tom Lee predicted was for the whole year of 2018 and not just the month of january, were just barely entering the 3rd week of january and fudders never seem to stop at doing what they do best.

In order for Bitcoin to grow 2 times, you need to invest in it a very large amount of money. Such forecasts attract investors and can really contribute to such rapid growth. I will be scared to present the commission after increasing bitcoin 2 times.

With all the money coming in crypto of course its gonna AT LEAST double. Still I prefer altcoins as theres potential for bigger gainz there.

Would you consider South Korea's new ban on bitcoin and other cryptocoins as FUD news? Some say they do, but I reckon it is putting their heads under the sand.

If a fund manager is telling us that bitcoin could easily double in 2018 in the middle of bad events, we should see that as a warning sign that they are hyping.
