Do you know why bitcoin going so much down?

1. people are investing in bitcoins currently , Investors start investing money in Ripple (1.2$ current) and bitcoin cash (3600$) , Dogecoins (0.008$)

2. some short term investors start selling of their bitcoins to recover the profit. they will buy again when it come low.

3. bitcoin Rise and Drop is a part of game , It will down and Come back again ,

We are all seeing that the price of Bitcoin is going down after a great pic. A lot of people predicted that its price can reach 20K at the end of this year.. but because of the fees this does not work.

The price is going down because a lot of people are being paranoic about the price, and that is the main reason of why they are selling all their bitcoins = panic sell.
They are very panicking about that, and that is why we are seeing a bearish rally in there.

It already hit 20k... it was long overdue for a correction as is this whole market. Bitcoin rises and drops and rises and drops and then rises again. Its completely healthy

I think there is some sort of chain reaction going on at the moment, since the resistance at $20K was strong, people started selling and it has triggered a small decreasing trend. But I'm sure it will pick back up eventually.

They are natural corrections, we have seen them in the past, in this world they will see this type of falls on a regular basis, but after that comes the new rise surpassing the last high price level.

This is just a required correction taking place. Bitcoin hit the first bottom at $16k and then the second bottom at $14.5k. Now, if we go by TA, bitcoin will touch $20k within a week. By tomorrow BTC will be bullish. Altcoins are bullish and one should try to accumulate more in dips. So, don't worry about BTC value and try to multiply your BTC amount through altcoins. BTC will end up at good price by year end.

Yeah exactly, BTC is following a pretty obvious pattern I suspect it to go down to 12.8k though before climbing again and setting a new ATH.

Hope that it will continue following the pattern or we might see a bearmarket next year... but it seems unlikely for now.

People are cashing on the gains from the previous two months of upswing. They want to enjoy the fruits of their labor (investment) during the holiday season. Or maybe the cryptocurrency market is on a correction/stabilisation period.

You are the one perfect in your answer. I believe that we will find the bitcoin price boom again. This is how price recovered last time hard fork again and time BTG splitted as well.
You will get the profit if you invested on the bitcoin you will get a 2000 USD profit in a week. Please if you are able to invest on bitcoin try to grab the situation again.

You are correct there newinbtc , because of the rapid growth of bitcoins value it will naturally go down because some of the people holding the bitcoin starts selling their bitcoin to get some profit . The demands are getting upward as more people are getting more involved and investing in the bitcoin market and the supply/mining block is being selled by the miners to recoup with the mining cost of electricity and other bills of the miners.

Do you know why bitcoin going so much down?
- Many whales are taking out profit
- Newbie investors are selling for loss due to panic
- People are going crazy for altcoins and buying it with bitcoin
- Many are selling bitcoin because they are frustrated with current congested network and high fee on transaction.

The one who will not panic in situation like this and can hold their bitcoins for next few months will make more than those who will cashout at current price range.

Do you know why bitcoin going so much down?

The major reason behind this is the number of stuck transactions which is why users are now driving all their capital to other currencies where they find better speeds and lower fees. Bitcoin already gained too much this year alone and proved to be one of the best (superb) investments of 21st century but that somehow became a disadvantage when the mining community became greedy and to show them that if they will keep doing like this, market-makers know what to do; they are now driving Bitcoins the wrong way but if we consider the surge in value, than what we are seeing should be considered as a nominal correction. $15k was set to be seen by investors (many of them were saying that a drop could come and value may soon be near $15k before the end of December) and they proved it. The local-no-confirmation-spam should now be stopped or miners should get ready to see more of this.

It's a normal correction that was bound to happen long ago. The only reason it hasn't was that people were waiting for the futures to open for trading.
The clogged up blockchain has given people something to think of and they're moving into other coins for the time being. For instance even BTG which is a total shitcoin has gained from this situation. Once the lightning network starts working we'll have another BTC surge and an exit from altcoins to BTC.
