First of all our apologies for having dropped the ball a bit on communication to bitcointalk. The majority of our community lives on Discord and Telegram. That still doesn't mean forgetting about the other channels so we plan on changing this and stepping up our game.

There's a lot going on in Polis.
We're very busy testing Olympus, a Casper consensus based new chain that will be our future home.
The current combination of masternodes and staking will be replaced by a validator system on Olympus.

In the next while, we'll post more information here to keep you informed on all of this.

Contest of artists
The new deadline for submitting works for participation in the competition is 15.11.2020. Until then, all works can still be submitted for voting. Voting will start on 16/11/2020 and end on 23/11/2020. The winner will be officially announced at the next DAO AMA meeting, on 25.11.2020. Remember the date!

TESTINGS
The team worked hard on two main tasks: - checking how the migration mechanism works on the Olympus blockchain, as well as creating a graphical User interface (GUI) for the new wallet and the blockchain Explorer…
Along with this, we perform some optimization of the Olympus code and fix minor bugs detected during testing. We plan to complete the first stage of development of the Olympus wallet User interface (Ul) tools next week, announcing the official release of the wallet, which will allow more people to join the open beta testing process.

OLYMPUS
The technical Department of the DAO monitored audit companies and received offers from some of them to audit the new code base of the Olympus blockchain. Moreover, we have already signed a cooperation Agreement with one of the companies, and as soon as the Olympus public test network is launched, its audit will begin. We are really happy to have found a reliable partner who will fully test Olympus for vulnerabilities and security holes. More information will be published soon.

POLIS CORE
WrappedPOLIS (wPOLIS) – DEFI
Currently, the team is also working on creating a POLIS bridge for ETH, and implementing an ERC20 token, which will be called Wrapped Polis (wPOLIS). We will share all the details as we go along. The new Token can already be tested on the PolisPay wallet! If you want to test the token, please contact Richard Bustos (Eros), who implements this direction.

We are happy to announce and bring you the new 8.7.0 release on the PolisPay app, this is the best version yet!
Our team worked very hard to introduce new features and fix a lot of problems. On this version you can expect the following new features, that we hope you will love!

*         Support for PolisPay Shift v2.0. So you can convert your crypto easily and securely, without sending your
           coins to an exchange.

*         Improvements to the PolisPay Gift Card experience, including faster loading times, better categories, and a
           brand new Favorites section, so you can spend less time finding the products you love.

*         Dynamic setting of Gas Limit for ERC20 token transactions. Up to this point we provided an approximation
           for this value, resulting in some transactions requesting users to have more ETH than what was needed for
           the transaction to be sent, even if it ended spending only the required amount, it could prevent some
           ERC20 transactions to be built correctly. Now we continue to provide a default value that guarantees a
           successful transaction, but a user can now use the slider to set the Gas Limit Value.

*         Some squashed bugs on UI and UX all over the application.

*         The long awaited PolisPay feature Shift has also been completed and is set to be released on Tuesday

Hello Polis Community, we have released a new Polis Core Wallet 1.6.7

This update will fix an issue with the spork activation to set a dynamic fee to prevent stake grinding.

This is a mandatory update for everyone (stakers and masternodes).

The spork will be activated Wednesday 25/11 at 21.00 UTC.
