That's a good question!
We never thought of that word distinction before, but of course you are right.
In fact, just yesterday we were consulting with the Korean translator who is translating our white paper into Korean.
Apparently, in Korean there are even more nuances to the word escort and, there are words for female, male and non-gender-specific.
In this case we are referring to escorts who are women who charge (substantially in many cases) for the pleasure of their company.
Some might say that is what marriage is, but hey, that's another topic.
The Toronto Invite Only PinkDate Launch party is set for Feb 28 which is the Go Live for PinkDate's Global Escorting Platform.
We will light up a new city each month.
Some may say well, why not launch globally all at once.
Well the reason is that clients need to see at least 100 women escorts or else they will not be interested in a small selection.
So, as soon as we have about 100 escorts signed up in a city, we will launch in that city.
Our President, Sarah Stevens, a former escort had a good understanding of this business and she will fan the flames in Toronto to make sure it is a 100% success from Day One.
The party will be invite-only with 100 escorts and 200 men.

P.S. I know an older lady (55 years) who does 'escorting' for those big trucks that haul large concrete bridge beams. She just drives in front or behind, at a slow speed and gets $35 an hour.
Compared to girl escorts who charge $400, it's not much. But she doesn't have to shower and do makeup for an hour before going to work. She's happy with her $35/hr.
In what sense is the escort? There are different types of escort. Escort for the protection of goods, people and escort by women of easy virtue. What kind of escort is it?
