With all the FUDs and negative news around, i think the price of bitcoin will range around 15 -17k , since that will be the correction price and now that we have more bitcoins out in the market, more investors will buy bitcoin, since it had proven itself that it can survive through time, and just within this year the value of bitcoin really rose up, and now other coins are rising up, giving more options for investors, still we need bitcoin in order to use for other transactions and is widely accepted, altcoins will have to undergo the process that bitcoin had went through in order to gain the value that bitcoin has now.

There is a high probability that your prediction will come true. I think after this price fall, many new people will invest in bitcoin and it might cause the price to reach the amount you mentioned. This is what has happened several times and this time can happen again.

right now its looking like we might be in the first serious consolidation period since the september/october drop. My guess is it'll stay in the $14k-$18k range for a couple weeks and then we'll see it finally get over $20k in January.

Like the titanic? far from it, perhaps you meant the altcoins price.
the bitcoin price has gone down by almost 9% in the last 24h, but now it's been fluctuating around 16k and 15k, and compared to how other altcoins are doing (a lot have big red numbers), the BTC price hasn't had any major changes. People got used to seeing 5% daily profit, and when they're not making profit, they freak out and forget that the price has increased over 100% in the last few months. At some point, it had to stop.

My prediction of bitcoin prices by the end of the year is going down because to face big days like christmas and new year will certainly require a budget to be able to celebrate with family, and I think most users will sell it for that purpose, but for prediction maybe bitcoin prices will drop to $ 15k at the end of this year.

That price is achievable tomorrow or by Christmas eve so I think it should be lower. I guess btc price would drop to 13k$ before the end of this year because it has been on a prolonged bullish trend already and it will have to go down to maintain the health of the market. You are right though that selling of btc for it to be used to buy things this Christmas might be one of the cause why btc dropped now. Another reason for downtrend is probably operation dragonslayer unfolding if it succeed.
