Number of confirmations required to become confirmed

hi,

I sent BTC on the Dec 18 from an exchange which is now in my Armory wallet as at 2017-Dec-18 09:57 am but still unconfirmed, been over 72 hours.

I can see the transaction details Confirmations:608

It's the first time I have moved BTC from an exchange to armory so any advice be great

A transaction is confirmed when it has at least one confirmation. If you don't see it in your wallet or it says "unconfirmed", that means that your wallet is either working improperly or not synced with the blockchain.

I'm connected to Armory i.e bottom right connected(500469 blocks)

When I go into the transaction information the confirmations are moving slow now at 609, so I can see the transaction.

I rebooted and rescanned DB can see confirmed now.

Only Item now is that I'm getting an error - "Tx broadcast timed out."

Any ideas?
