I am still Hodling to my bitcoin and buying now that the value drop to a significant number, I really think it would be just like a bungee jump kind of thing, It will sure bounce back and could really hit to $25,000 value, And I think it is nice to buy bitcoin right now because the price is cheap, we can never tell this can be another momentum for another Bullish path.

it is not a bad idea to sell whenever you see a drop is starting up. and if you could have caught the drop before it became big, meaning back when price was still above $15,000 then it was a good time to sell. right now it is starting to become too late to sell but it is still not at that point.

in any case you have to make up your mind when investing in bitcoin. you are either a long term investor and will hold it and make profit even when price drops like this temporarily and small. or you want to be a trader, in which case you use these short dips to make even more profit on your bitcoins.

ps: we are close to the "magic number" which is 30% drop.

Its smart to sell at $15K/BTN. If you bought at $5K or $10K, that's a nice profit. Holding Bitcoin like a scared fool without ever selling, will guarantee that you'll have ZERO profit.

Such a smart choice when we've seen the likes of $20k throughout the month till now and a sudden dip is provoking you to sell everything for much lower. Holding has always been for the brave ones and always yielded huge profits, unlike for panic sellers like yourself.

KEEP SELLING GENTS !!! NO ONE HAS EVER WENT BROKE TAKING A PROFIT.  

Do whatever the heck you want with your coins but don't play an influence on others' decisions. Let the believers continue to HODL while you continue to sell for cheapish profit. Eventually, you'll damn yourself when the next big surge occurs.

Its kinda hard for me to "damn myself" when I am independently wealthy through medicine and real estate. $5-$10K in Crypto is just baby money and its just fun for me. Unlike 99.9% of the people buying Bitcoin, I got my wealth through education, hard work, and creating VALUE.

I can stop working tomorrow and my real estate will cover all my basic life expenses. I'm young too. I am not looking to get rich quick by buying BTC. I invest in real assets like human capital and real estate which produce INCOME. Something bitcoin can never do.

There is only one difference between what is happening now and back there in 2014: in 2014 it seemed that bitcoin is still proving usefull, that it is people who dumped it. This is what they call panic selling. Many of us panic when we saw bitcoin drop to cut our lose. But people who are in bitcoin in long time. They say that dont panic hold your bitcoin. And i don't know what they mean because i am new in bitcoin.

Those who panic sell their bitcoins, are those who lack discipline in doing their research, but we may never know the reason why they did it,  still if you are.goin to invest into a volatile environment, in this case cryptocurrency, you should be ready to loose what you have invested since it is very volatile, the price may go up more than 10 folds and that is what had happened within this year, and also be ready that you return will be zero. Keep in mind bitcoin is for everybody to use but not everyone can handle the volatility, keep on studying and you will see ways on how you can earn more.

Hoping we drop some more so they can declare BTC "dead" for the umpteenth time.  This rise hit 2 selling levels for me, which is twice as good as I was hoping for, I'm ready to hodl for as long as it takes to reach the next one.

They have all the right reasons to sell their bitcoins since the price is dropping really sharp as I see it, and there's no way that sane minded people who bought near the peak would bear this loss until now. From the solid resistance of $15k down to $13k and now we're sitting at $11k, I think we have just officially entered a bear market right now. This should be favorable though, as a fast increase isn't sustainable in the long run.

Oh and before we forget, looks like someone is going to cut off his dick if his projections don't appear to be correct by 2020.

You can't compare the current situation to that in 2015. Back then, the users got tired after the exchange rates fell continuously for more than 2 years. And here we are talking about a temporary dips after attaining the record highs just a few weeks earlier.

I'm not really surprised by this downfall, it was only a matter of time before they took it down, I feel this is a excellent opportunity to buy more and this has happened before also when segwit2x was announced and post the cancellation it shot up. Also with the so called Jesus of Bitcoin Roger has sold his all coins it had to tank. I feel it shall bounce very soon, highly recommended to buy at current levels.

It really has been a chain of events. The spam on the network, coupled with Roger Ver going on all over national TV to say how Bitcoin is dead and how they should buy Bitcoin Cash, then the Futures Market added right when Roger does this possibly triggered further panic-selling as well, and we also were prime for a correction anyway due the massive bull run. We haven't even crossed below $10,000, and even if we did, we would still be okay. 2018 will bring us many all time highs. Most people selling now will feel stupid sooner or later.

People need to start making there own minds up on when to buy and sell.  For the life of me I cannot understand people who follow twitter account of unknown people who spam when to sell and when to buy.

Think about it..Do you think they do that to further your position or make gains on there own positions.

Buy when you feel comfortable.
Sell when you require.

Do not listen to FUD do not trade on someone else's "hot tips"
Learn how the market works bitcoin has always been volatile place to trade it has upped the steaks since the price is so high now. trading really is no longer for the noobs.

I'm sure that not all people are selling in panic. Some just need fiat for the holidays, like me. At least I've managed to sell the needed amount at $18K.

Let people do what they want to do! One of the best things of Bitcoin is the free, global market that exists. The people that bought at $19k probably feel foolish too...you're not helping them.
